Thomas Moore25 said:Oh yeah, you totally get it—they're such "tough guys." They strut around acting like they're some elite infantry unit from a local Midwest brewery... you know, the kind who think they own the block whenever they step onto someone else's turf. It’s quite the act. Honestly, where would our poor navy even stand against a group like that? Even those legendary hardcore supporters flee the local bars the second they hear they're coming. You just don't mess with them!!🤣

A very charming response from a very charming little boy. 🤣

Thomas Moore25 said:Hahaha, who on earth said we were waiting for you people over here?! 🤷 My point was simply that WS fans were practically bursting with desire to witness those famous demons who used to "set everything ablaze" back in the old days, yet they were left entirely disappointed...🤣 As for your little tales about wandering around and hunting the Navy through shopping malls, I can only offer one Škorotov song as a response, which goes something like "...the village lies, and the people lie..." Until our next encounter, peace and hugs.😍

I am curious—is there any truth to the rumor that the demons called you out for a scheduled brawl or even just a fair fight multiple times, only for you to decline?
It would be a shame if it turned out to be another case of "the village lies, and the people lie." 😁

Can't you see the Navy is finally stirring lately? A few guys here and there, I suppose...

It is quite telling that the Navy only starts showing interest when the club is actually winning. Cleveland is currently sitting in third place in the MLS standings; just imagine how their fan base would look if they were actually fighting to avoid relegation. Something to ponder. 😉

Mark Wilson72 said:Can someone give me an objective count of how many people are actually in the cup here?

There are roughly 150 folks in the cup itself. However, if you factor in the veteran Navy supporters who typically don't crowd the stands and tend to be a bit more reserved with their cheering, the total number is significantly higher.

NFL fans turned out in impressive numbers today for the Winter Cup, traveling to support their club. Their energy was top-notch, providing a massive boost to the boys in white. Sadly, the squad couldn't quite capitalize on that momentum, ultimately dropping the match to the tournament hosts from the Adriatic Sea region.
A small group within the NFL fans (about 24 individuals) were detained by the Police Department following the game, a direct result of sheer arrogance and excessive drinking.

It is worth noting, rather surprisingly, that the Cleveland fans were nowhere to be found during the first day of the tournament when the club suffered a loss against a second-division local sports team.

I fail to see why everyone is getting so worked up in the comments.
Mr. Ajkula asked me to justify my enrollment, which I did; whether he chooses to dispute my claims is entirely his own concern. I simply provided my perspective on the current state of the Armada—a view I am certain most activists within the American supporter scene would find agreeable.
I will concede that the banner theft from the train was a clever and commendable stunt by the younger wing of the Armada (a group no one has any issue with), but I can't help but wonder why they missed such a golden opportunity to pull off an even better move during the last away game when that group from St. Louis visited San Diego. They had the perfect opening, yet they let it slip through their fingers.

All things considered, I hold the Armada in high regard and am convinced they have the potential to expand their influence significantly.

Andrew White32 said:I’m asking you why you think their reputation is ruined or whatever else you claimed—is this your actual answer??
Your arguments aren't exactly breathtaking. I fail to see how reputation and status have anything to do with the state of a fence, which was one of your other points. 🤷 Honestly, what the hell...
The constant failure in confrontations 🤷 What specifically are you referring to? (I could provide a detailed dissertation on that right now, but I really don't feel like writing an essay.) Once again, I completely disagree, but it’s pathetic. At the end of the day, you just keep typing regardless of whether it makes sense or not, much like most people on this site.. 🤷 👍

It is obvious you aren't impressed by the logic because you are a fan of the Cleveland fleet, but those are the fundamental pillars used to evaluate any supporter subculture.
Regarding the era I am referencing: the fleet never lacked presence at "small" games with fewer than 500 people in the stands. Every single match featured solid flares, choreographies, and so on. Every single game! And today, what remains of that fleet that used to be the vanguard of the scene??? People, you don't even have a presence at those "small" games. The atmosphere is either terrible or nonexistent.
There was a time when traveling to Cleveland was a daunting task for any group, but now... they just wander through town, mocking it and treating it like some wasteland... and you??? For years, you haven't stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the supporters, and your showings in Miami are pitiful. The Cohort is out there running actions around town (Dead Man's Square), remember the old days. The Demons roam the streets, and the last three or four clashes effectively wiped you out...
The fleet's issue isn't about leadership, radicals, or police crackdowns. It is about internal division and a lack of cohesion within the group. The core issue lies with the older generation, who failed to mentor the younger fans. This total breakdown in communication and failure to engage with rising generations is the primary problem facing the fleet. Until that is understood, things won't look up for the neighborhood anytime soon.

Andrew White32 said:Without being humble, you don't underestimate the fleet; Cleveland has always had—and will continue to have—a powerful crew in every sense of the word.
If we're talking about reputation, I can't say I agree with you at all regarding attempts to tear it down. If you’re going to make a claim like that, it wouldn't be the worst thing if you actually provided some arguments to back it up...🤷

Pešekan, I'm not even that old...🙂

Nobody is underestimating the fleet; people are simply attempting to remain objective. The turnout and energy at both home and away games—the atmosphere, the numbers, the chanting, even the look of the banners—is frankly abysmal. It doesn't even compare to the generation that ran the West Stand about ten years ago. Furthermore, there's the whole aspect of the fan subculture, specifically the clashes with other groups, where you guys seem to be consistently losing ground.

There was a period when Red Sox Nation actually possessed a formidable and talented roster. It is truly unfortunate how today's version of the fans has managed to dismantle that legacy and completely tarnish the reputation they once held.
