The official police report states he took his own life due to depression—mixing antidepressants with alcohol and all that. That’s the official line from the cops, the family, and everyone else involved. There is absolutely nothing in there suggesting he was masturbating, though—which, let's be real, is entirely possible.

There was a solid documentary about him on PBS a few months back.

When it comes to music, I used to be really into that band back in the day—it was a whole thing. I still find myself spinning their tracks every now and then, though I don't really dive into them like I used to. It's more of a rare occurrence these days.

Also, regarding the late Paula Yates—she has a daughter, and her ex-husband, Bob Geldof, wants to adopt her and change her last name to Geldof. The Hutchence family is fighting to keep her, they're even circulating petitions... it's an absolute mess.
