Logest vs. Yasmin: Which one is better?
in Women's Health ·
I was on Yasmin for about two and a half years before I finally quit about eighteen months ago. It’s only now that I’m actually realizing how much of a difference it made to my appearance. My skin was flawless—not a single breakout on my back, zero cellulite, and my periods were incredibly light, lasting maybe two days tops.
Lately, though, things have shifted. My skin is acting up again, I've noticed more cellulite, and those annoying back breakouts are driving me crazy. On top of that, my first day of menstruation has become surprisingly painful, which feels odd because I never dealt with anything like that when I was eleven. Back when I was taking Yasmin, the only thing that showed up slightly elevated on my blood work was my cholesterol. Honestly, none of that really worries me; part of me still wants to go back on them. But after sitting with my thoughts for a bit, I realized my libido has shot up and I don't have any issues with natural lubrication anymore. I used to struggle with being incredibly dry down there, and I always just chalked it up to getting older or just having a messy headspace regarding sex, but now I see the pill was actually the culprit.
I’m wondering if anyone using Logest experiences similar issues with their sex drive? I’m heading out to pick up my prescription next week, so I really need to decide which one to go with...
