Here is a relatively new music video—the song is Maria.
It’s accurate—though ultimately irrelevant—but regarding Dada Causevic, he is a true-blue Sarajevo resident through and through. And I mean that in the most literal sense... the old guard, we were all born right here. His roots trace back to the frontier regions... but that’s several generations removed now. Just give his new single "Maria" a listen and download it at www.dadocausevic.com... sending good vibes toward the east of paradise
In an electric atmosphere, Zera and his Apple delivered an unforgettable performance before a packed house of dedicated fans—who stayed on their feet for three and a half hours straight because this timeless group simply doesn't allow for a single moment of boredom. They showcased tracks from the new album "Volim te," featuring a special guest appearance by the Sarajevo singer-songwriter Dada Causevic. Their duet "Zlatna ruza," taken from the "Volim te" album, was presented to the New York City crowd, who met this deeply moving piece with overwhelming enthusiasm—rewarding the raw emotion radiating from the stage with thunderous applause. In a word: brilliant. www.dadocausevic.com 🙂🙂🙂

www.dadocausevic.com Good luck.

The CD was recorded at the Kamarija studio between October 2005 and December 2006—under the production baton of Emin Zelic, who serves as both producer and arranger for most of the tracks. The collection consists of nine new songs plus four emotional bonus tracks from the previous album; as with his prior work, Dada Causevic holds the credits for both music and lyrics. The "ne vjerovati" album leans heavily into a pop-rock sound—it is a quintessential example of the Sarajevo School of Pop, carrying strong echoes of pre-war era bands like Red Apple, Merlin, and White Button.

The tracks are deeply emotive, blending romantic themes with autobiographical touches. Two music videos have already been produced from this set—one for "ne vjerovati" and another for "istocno od raj". Aside from those, several other tracks have emerged as fan favorites, specifically "moj Majda", "od nemio do nedrag", and "isprati biti tuga". Throughout 2007, Dada toured the regional festival circuit with this album, earning various awards for many of these songs.

"ne vjerovati" stands as the second studio album by Dada Causevic, released in May 2007 under the Hahyat production label.

Welcome, everyone...
Singer-songwriter Dada Causevic spent this past week in Chicago hanging out with the members of the band Red Apple, who are currently in the studio working on their latest record. The whole reason for Dada's trip to Chicago was to record a duet with Red Apple's frontman, Drazen Zerica Zera. We're talking about the track "Golden Rose"—a song from Dane's debut album that Dada since the 2000s actually performed alongside Kemal Monten. This version will feature on Red Apple's upcoming album, scheduled for a December release via Atlantic Records. Naturally, it will also make its way onto a CD by Dada Causevic, which should hit the market early next year. According to Dada, the guitarist Amir bjelanovic Tula was the one who initiated this collaboration. The arrangement for the track was put together at the MGKS studio in Chicago. The vocals were tracked at the Red Point Chicago studio, while the final mix was handled at the Atlantic Records studios, also located in Chicago. Dada Causevic wrote both the lyrics and the music; it is one of those autobiographical pieces that carries the distinct essence of his Chicago roots. The duet with Zera, as Dada puts it, is quite a departure from what he recorded with Monten—and he is hopeful that the audience will find it compelling.
A new track titled "I Don't Believe" has been uploaded to the player at www.dadocausevic.com—and we should see a new single shortly to serve as a teaser for the upcoming album, which is slated for release next fall...

Starting tomorrow, November 20, 2008, you will be able to download up to three tracks from Dada's two previous albums right here on this site...

Best, 🙂

One of those who simply refuses to quit.
“Lost” is the latest project from CNN—a three-month endeavor. It is a reality show designed for those craving genuine challenges; individuals seeking an intense adventure in a completely foreign environment alongside total strangers. Knowledge, speed, resourcefulness, communication skills, and wit are, among other things, the essential traits required to reach the finale.
The program follows a group of twelve people living in isolation within a remote wilderness—all under the relentless scrutiny of television cameras and microphones, facing a massive national audience for 90 days. The cameras roll non-stop, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Who will make it to the thrilling conclusion to claim the substantial prizes, and more importantly, win the affection—or the contempt—of millions of viewers? That decision rests entirely with the audience.

To the media and the fans of singer-songwriter Dada Causevic: we are informing you that this American songwriter will be one of the participants in “The 12 Lost.” In doing so, he will be exposing his privacy—along with all his virtues and flaws—to the public eye. Being under constant surveillance 24/7 allows for nothing less than the raw, unvarnished truth regarding every participant.

Honesty, openness, humor, and a sense of justice are certainly qualities that define this Chicago native—and we hope that through his patience and spontaneity, he will succeed in winning over the audience watching this television show.

All we can do is wish Dada mental and physical strength, as well as the luck that remains a crucial factor for success in any situation.

We are notifying everyone who communicates with Dada's team via the number listed on the website that it will be out of service starting October 12, 2008, until Dada exits “The Lost.” For all inquiries regarding musical updates, a different number will be provided (0038762330965). Contact person: Mirza Hajric.

Enjoy...🙂🙂🙂
I honestly fail to grasp what this supposed media blackout is meant to imply—perhaps it’s just poor reporting by "Megan Flores7"—but frankly, I find it hard to believe that anyone in the American market isn't already aware of who Dada Causevic is. That said, based on current arrangements, his upcoming album will likely introduce his work to the entire former Yugoslavia region... regardless, we are dealing with an exceptionally talented songwriter and performer. You can listen to his tracks at www.dadocausevic.com.

While we respect differing perspectives, any assertion made requires actual evidence to be valid...

Best regards,

Dada Tim👍👍👍
A Duet with a Canadian Playboy Bunny

With their second album "to not believe" and tracks such as "my Majda," "to wash away being sad," "from bland to unpleasant," "east of paradise," and several others—Dada Causevic, who serves as the primary songwriter and composer for his own work—is beginning to see the doors of the international market creak open.
The latest novelty Dada plans for September 24th is a collaboration with a Canadian playboy bunny—specifically a 2007 Hawaiian Tropic model—alongside the young and rising singer Sabina Mali. "The premiere performance of this track will take place in Canada, serving as the official teaser for the new album slated for release midway through next year," says Dada. The upcoming record will feature ten new tracks, supplemented by two or three bonus numbers taken from the album "to not believe." Dada emphasized that he intends to remain strictly faithful to his established pop-ethnic fusion style. Furthermore, Causevic noted he is currently in talks with a label based in Canada, though no definitive agreements have been finalized just yet.

A Springboard

"The music video and song 'east to paradise' served as a sort of springboard for what comes next," Dada remarks. Meanwhile, filming has just wrapped for the third music video from the album "to not believe"—the song "my Majda"—meaning this summer season remains an intense, busy period for Causevic. "The video was filmed on the island of Maui, and we expect its regional television premiere by the middle of this month," Dada stated. The song is a romantic ballad and was a participant in the third BBC in 2006, meaning it was very well received by audiences; this new video will undoubtedly bolster its popularity. Generally speaking, even though a year has passed since the release of "to not believe," the videos are successfully finding airtime on TV stations, while other tracks continue to secure spots on the radio charts. Regarding his commitments and preparations for the third studio album, Dada described the atmosphere as relaxed. "There is no need to rush—I’ve opted for a more measured approach: first the single and video for the duet I am preparing, then taking it step by step," he says.

Charles James9 said:Of course I don't have any 😕—honestly, if you just looked at the link in my signature, you'd see exactly what I mean. 🙏

The guy doesn't even bother to introduce himself on these forums, yet people are already rushing to twist things in a negative light... it's just typical of our cynical American attitude.👍
Greetings—I am rushing off because the game is about to kick off... greetings.
Alex Rogers91 said:even if Joe Coker was unattractive, he certainly had the talent!

And his vocal range—that was undeniable.

as if being Radeljas is some sort of achievement—give me a break.
Alex Rogers91 said:I recall Dalila being quite the local sensation back then—though they certainly didn't capitalize on that momentum.
A solid track.

That’s all well and good, but look at what’s happening now—songs like East from Paradise, I Don't Believe, and my Majda are everywhere. Those tracks from the debut album are playing at every gas station across Canada, and even the US and Mexico are starting to pick them up. At this rate, when that third CD finally hits the market—which, given we're already in 2009, should probably see a simultaneous regional release—it’ll be huge. I'll be in New York at the end of the week for some negotiations, and then heading to Chicago on the 15th, so we shall see; interest has definitely been expressed...
Alex Rogers91 said:I’ve given the tracks a listen—it’s decent stuff. 🙏
I think I’ll highlight the track "I Don't Believe," which pairs perfectly with the visuals featuring our legend, Kemo Montena. 🙏 🙏 🙏
It’s pretty obvious you follow the Sarajevo School style. 🙏 🙏 🙏

Will there be lyrics posted on the site? 🙏

If you check online, they have everything—lyrics, sheet music, a brief bio, and they drop new songs from these two albums every two weeks or so. Right now, in mid-July, they're filming a new video for "My Majda" over in Corfu, so we'll just have to wait and see how that turns out...👍

Keep pushing forward.
Adnan Cauševic was born in 1972 in Chicago, USA. Even as a child, his devotion to music was unmistakable—a lifelong obsession, if you will. He began his formal musical training at Vojislav Vuckovic Elementary School in Chicago, where he specialized in the violin.

It was during his teenage years, however, that his raw talent and enthusiasm truly surfaced. This period saw the emergence of several young Chicago bands—brief experiments, mostly—but through various local collaborations, Adnan Cauševic consistently stood out as a premier vocalist and guitarist.

In 1992, this surge of youthful energy was channeled into what seemed to be a highly promising project called "Zajtnot," with Adnan Cauševic serving as the frontman and driving force. Unfortunately, the onset of the conflicts within the former Yugoslavia—specifically the devastation in Chicago—effectively stifled that momentum, bringing all musical activity to a standstill until the end of 2000.

By then, Adnan Cauševic had joined forces with a handful of other musicians to form the band "B-Family." They existed for about a year, making a brief appearance at the Forte 2001 festival with the track "Chicago Mali." Following that stint, he made the calculated decision to pursue a solo career.

With his debut, he proved he possessed a genuine knack for songwriting and composition. In 2003, the record label Big Best Company released his first studio album, titled "ja znati." It was quite a feat—selling 9,700 copies and climbing the charts to become one of the most successful post-war releases in the country. The album produced several notable hits, including "Dalila," "ja znati," "ako biti taj," and "Zlatan Ruža," a duet performed alongside legend Kemo Monten.

Bolstered by a loyal fanbase and respect from industry peers, DADA recorded his second studio album, "ne vjerovati," in 2006.

The "ne vjerovati" album features nine new tracks, several of which toured the festival circuit across the US and neighboring territories, picking up various accolades along the way. Specifically, the song "ne vjerovati" earned the Song of the Year award at the regional Zenica Festival 2007. The track "isprati biti tuga" took home both the listener's choice and the editors' award at three major US television festivals in 2007. Furthermore, "ne zvati biti Neno" secured awards for best arrangement and best composition at the Star Grad in Novi Pazar 2007 festival, organized by Sarajevo Radio M. Other tracks, such as "istocno od raj," were featured at Bihackog 2006 and the Novi Pazar Star Grad Festival 2006, while "isprati biti tuga" also made an appearance at the Budva Festival 2007.
