Hey there. Sorry if this is in the wrong sub; mods, feel free to move this wherever it belongs. I’ve been staring at my screen for a bit trying to figure out an efficient way to swap out multiple values all at once. Here's the deal: I need to transform a specific set of numbers—specifically, turning 1 into 5, 2 into 4, keeping 3 as it is, then flipping 4 to 2 and 5 to 1. Once that's done, I need to get the sum of that new sequence. Is there a streamlined way to handle a batch swap like this in Microsoft Excel? Thanks in advance for the help. 🙂

Microsoft basically has your key burned right into the UEFI BIOS somewhere... it’s a one-time thing, you can't just go in and wipe it out. Honestly, Windows shouldn't give you any grief if you swap out the motherboard, but since this whole configuration comes bundled under warranty, the license is supposed to stay attached to the hardware too. Down the road, when you eventually install Windows 10, the system will just recognize your specific setup automatically.
I think I read somewhere that licenses might eventually be tied directly to the individual—not necessarily right now, but maybe later on. The idea is that once you sign in with your Microsoft account on a different machine (like a brand-new PC), it pulls all your settings over, including the license you already paid for, so you can keep using it until it expires. We'll have to wait and see how that actually plays out once they roll it out... If you buy a Windows 11 license today, say it's good for maybe 2 or 3 years, you could supposedly keep using it for free after that, though you wouldn't get those extra updates or perks that Microsoft usually pushes out. It would technically be the cheaper route, like paying $67 for a 3-year period.
Thanks for the info. I had no idea a Windows license was locked to the hardware config. I thought I could just slap the same version onto multiple PCs. Oh, well...

Honestly, why are you making this so complicated when you could just set up a simple dual boot and be done with it?
That would eat up another 5 GB of my drive for no reason. I have zero intention of actually booting into Windows 10 anymore, but since I already paid for it, I'd like to at least have it on a disc somewhere. So, does that license only work once? Am I stuck if I want to install it on a different machine later?
Hey there. I just picked up a laptop that came pre-loaded with Windows 10. To be honest, I’m not a fan of the OS, so I’m planning to wipe it completely and install Ubuntu instead. Before I pull the trigger, though, I want to back up my current Windows 10 installation onto a DVD and grab the serial number. That way, if I ever decide to go back, I actually have the means to do it. My main question is about that process: how do I get this specific Windows 10 setup onto a DVD, and if I do, will I be able to just reinstall Windows 10 later using that same serial number? Thanks in advance for any help.
It’s pretty wild scrolling back through these old threads from when superhero movies were still a niche thing. Nowadays, Marvel and DC just pump out multiple blockbusters every single year. :P Give the Director's cut a fair shake; you might actually be surprised. 😉Those extra scenes really pull the whole narrative together. Honestly, I didn't realize how much of a mess the movie actually was until I finished the series.

I used a USB tuner (PixelView) hooked up to the TV running DVBViewer, and for my old VHS tapes, I used a Dazzla DVC100 with various software setups. It’s always the same result. Plus, the audio on those VHS tapes is incredibly quiet.

Thanks for the reply. But no, that's not it. Channel group A always comes in crystal clear, while group B struggles a bit, sure—but you can't have bad reception when you're using a VHS recorder, yet here we are. 🙂 Besides, everything ran perfectly on my old desktop, so I know the hardware isn't the problem.
Hey there. I'm not quite sure how to put this into words, so it’s probably best if you just watch it: http://www.mediafire.com/watch/ftn6d...k66/greška.avi
My gut feeling is that we're looking at a codec issue. The audio stays perfectly fine, but the video keeps cutting out and coming back.

And why?? 🤷--asking because I can't decide which sport to pick.
Depends on what you're actually looking for. Personally, if we're talking about street defense, maybe Wing Chun takes it because it focuses on quick reactions and sharp reflexes. On the other hand, Taekwondo is more about those heavy, decisive strikes meant to shut an opponent down fast.

It’s supposed to be a psychological thriller. That means we shouldn't be seeing blood all over the place.
I was browsing an American site earlier when this movie popped up on my radar, so I figured I’d dig a little deeper into what it's actually about.

"One scientific theory suggests that paranormal activity is just a byproduct of the human mind. Essentially, ghosts only exist because we believe they do. A group of researchers decides to test this by attempting to manifest a supernatural entity using nothing but their own collective consciousness. If you believe, you die." — My take on the film
So, what are we thinking? Any expectations for this one, and does anyone know if it’s getting a US release?
Hey there. Does Nvidia ship graphics cards directly to residential addresses? Also, which card is actually the better pick: the Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 ti or the Zotac Nvidia GeForce GTX 570? And if I'm planning on running two of them, do they have to be identical to work in SLI mode? Here’s my current setup (mostly asking because of compatibility issues🙂): Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3-iSSD, 1155, iZ68, D3, HDMI, A Intel Core I5 2500 k
