So you finally tracked down where your old man keeps his trophy weapons? Those grenade keychains are absolute gold. Seriously, grab one for your keys.

gentlepuma20 said:@Raymond Barrett12/">@@Raymond Barrett12, did you eat during your anger management sessions? 😁

You’ve got that backward. The real question is: did you eat when you saw a terrorist attack happening right in front of you?🙂

Oh, right, so we're talking about co-branding and all that junk? Like a Ron Jeremy Extra Salami? Or maybe some Jenna Jameson pâté you could use as lube?

Carol Jackson45 said:Or just say "mine." My beer, my meat, my phone... you feel an instant connection to your stuff when you claim it.

Yeah, well, if "My Meat" hits a slump in the market, they could always pivot the whole brand toward some trashy content for guys looking for a quick fix.

Back when things were different about five years ago, you’d see the "American Plumber" magazine advertised all over the screens at the local hardware store. 😵

Screw any publication that doesn't include "American" in its title. Honestly, they might as well just write to the editors and demand they rename the whole thing "US Meat."

Look, you really should’ve gotten used to this kind of nonsense by now. Here, let me give you a quick vocabulary lesson to get you up to speed: potpourri, macramé, figaro, wellness, Viktor Drago.😁

Your guy’s wearing a skirt. Go figure.

For the love of God, just go practice your karate already...

Alex Rogers91 said:You’re acting like Cicdale couldn't survive a day at Burda! For God's sake, just wear a leather jacket over your bare chest and call it a day!

Oh, they'd definitely find a way to scrape by! Look, hand me an AK-47 and I won't even know how to take it apart, but you give me some tailor-made gear from Burda? Man, I could do it with my eyes closed!🙂

hollowseal33 said:He’s clearly pushing that first photo hard, especially that one shot showing off an American passport right up front in the first row. 😁 Sure, he didn't manage to snag a comfy cushion, but hey, at least he sat right next to Aunt Prittpen. Total overachiever move right there. 😁

Aunt Prittpen? 😉

... we’d all be singing and whistling and acting just like little kids.

You forgot to mention how we played hide-and-seek last night, too. Only now we're older, so the playground is a lot bigger. Our version of hide-and-seek was basically called "Find the intern in Austin."😁

Nelson Dinsdale Pickett! 🙂

Listen to this guy calling him 'big'... He actually showed up... When's your appointment? During your maternity leave? 😁

Ian MacKaye would be absolutely thrilled to see what kind of "punk rock" direction this thread has taken.

🙂

Give me a break! If he can sit there and claim Americans are finally changing their tune—that we’re finally realizing George Bush is a total joke and just need to suck it up until he leaves the White House—then fine. :jesustapdancingchrist!!!: If he gets to do that, then we can talk about whatever the hell we want in a thread about him. We can rant about medium-rare steaks, boobs, or how the Nike ten law is the only thing that matters.

David Sullivan4 said:If you’re going to be this nitpicky, I’m basically throwing up in Spanko. Seriously.

Go ahead then, why don't you just go ahead and Wrong to found a club called "Rigoletto in Spank." Or maybe don't, since it's a Wrong line and right around Spanko anyway 😁

Jose Watson66 said:I mean, yeah... I gotta admit, when you're driving through thick fog, it’s way easier to spot a massive red taillight. I had one right in front of me last night... thank God for that guy. Total hero. He was tearing through the night and the mist way too fast, but hey, we made it "safely." 😛

Look, speeding isn't about acting like some tough guy. I just wanted to get the drunks out of my car ASAP. You know how it goes—one person starts puking and it triggers a total chain reaction. Besides, professional detailing is expensive as hell...

mistyseal27 said:Besides, you're missing the point... unions, man. Real men walk away from that stuff ready to run a forklift, not just drive a car.

Note to coastalpanther11: specifically for this occasion and given how sleepy that concert was, Shellac was temporarily replaced by Wilco.

"She's a jar with a heavy lid
You know she begs me not to hit her"

Real macho. Might actually work. 👍

Jose Watson66 said:You’re being way too soft here... 🙂 ...what about the person behind the wheel... 😕 ...who's driving while completely hammered...

Look, let me be clear: if I ever drank and then got behind the wheel—which I am absolutely telling you kids not to do, seriously, stay safe!—it was strictly to take the edge off before driving through heavy fog. It's easy to just plow into someone's bumper and call it a day... But you have to face reality for what it actually is.😁

The cops aren't getting a pass, and they aren't going soft either 🎉 🎉 🎉 :hippieshit:

Honestly, the only thing missing from that show was some fancy wine and cheese by candlelight. It was actually pretty chill...

Alright, since we're talking about booze and road trips to gigs, I’m setting some ground rules for when people ride in coastalpanther11's car: zero excuses, no eating greasy takeout and wiping your hands on my upholstery, and—make no mistake—I am absolutely NOT driving anyone who’s wasted. This is the second time in a row I’ve had to pull over on the interstate just so people can go puke. And last night? The fog was thick as hell. Give me a break. Either bring your own barf bags, or start driving an indie Ford (you know, the Naked Raygun or Shellac of North America version).

Man, talk about being sensitive... What, you want to go listen to Octopus and Black Feather instead?
