Kevin Chavez3 said:I wouldn't say that, but I definitely need a break from Exploited (that's this Thursday, right?) anyway. I don't have a ticket, nobody can give me a ride, and honestly, I'm not even dying to go, even though I think the Evans album is great. It’s just not really the kind of music you want to hear live.

Boo-fucking-hoo, quit being such a damn emo.

Good grief, since when did you become a music critic moderator? Evans is playing today. People will drive you home drunk, sure, but someone would definitely give you a lift all the way to Vienna if you asked. 🙂
The whole ticket cost is basically a wash, man $33.
Why didn't you speak up sooner, Stas?

What, did you quit your old gig just to go flip croissants and bagels at Clara on the night shift or something?

😂 Call it the vinyl diet.

Hey Infidel, you heading to the Evense show?

My top list of stickers from the Animal Kingdom I picked up yesterday:

1. East Indian Tapir 2nd Beaver
2. Beaver

Just go watch the movie "Ed Wood." It’ll clear everything right up for you.

Glenn or Glenda? Narantxa or Coca-Cola?

Yeah, Narantxa is cool and all, but now you're actually starting to worry me. You don't know what mohair is, and you aren't even stopping by N. P. zapitati to figure out where this is all heading...

Oh, so she wears skirts in public now? I bet she’s out there rocking some mohair sweater too—and we all know THAT is strictly off-limits!!! Look, there are rules. You don't mess with a woman's man, her shoes, or her knitwear. Period.

I'm still waiting on my copy to arrive... What's the deal? Tell that guy Fudo to just grab it for me next time he's headed this way. Can you make that happen?

You missed a big one:

It's a dog-eat-dog world
Cats get eaten too
The French eat frogs
And I'll eat you

stormyviper11 said:coastalpanther11, as far as I know, you won't find anything in Washington, D.C. that even comes close to Scout in terms of selection. But hey, there’s that Beer shop service that delivers right to your doorstep if you spend enough.

Man, stormyviper11, thanks for the tip! I'll buy the round!
hollowangler68, I'm buying you one too. I have a feeling behind those retarded comments of yours hides a solid guy and a real friend. 😁 Cheers! 🙂

stormyviper11 said:Sure, you could drink it just to get the job done, but honestly, Beck's is worse...

You don't even know what makes it worse. Is it the taste or the packaging?
Look, you can't exactly act tough at a nightclub holding some tiny little bottle, especially if it’s green 😁
Imagine walking into a club with a massive 50oz March Kubrick in your hand. That’s how you do it. People see you and instantly realize you aren't someone to mess with. Manly! 🙂

hollowangler68 said:Hoegaarden is absolute garbage.

And what’s your problem with calling Bavaria 8.6 a "session beer"? Too strong for you? Wimp.😁
If it were sitting in the 11-15% range, maybe then we'd talk.

Oh, listen to this guy, saying Hoegaarden is trash... 🙄 You think Erdinger is actually good? Please...

Bavaria 8.6 has an aftertaste like you poured a shot of Bacardi right into it. If that's your style, why not just drink wine or straight liquor? I don't see the point in chugging beer with a massive alcohol percentage. For starters, the taste is disgusting. Even Leffe hits you with the alcohol, but at least it's subtle about it.

hollowangler68 said:top 10 beers

1 foster's (absolute ruler, finest liquid in the cosmos, nothing else even comes close)

2 Bavaria 8.6
3 Leffe blonde
3 becks
5 March Kubrick strong
6 Bella Vue kriek
7 harp
8 Guinness
9 Erdinger
10 amstel

All you’re missing is some American Budweiser and Miller High Life to make this list perfect. 😁

Guinness, Leffe, Bella Vue (for the ladies)—sure. The rest? Fine, I guess, if you’ve got absolutely nothing else to drink. 😁 Except for that Bavaria 8.6 beer tap.

I'd toss in some Hoegaarden, Franziskaner, and Le Trapp blond. That's been my weapon of choice lately.

Question: Is there anywhere in Washington, D.C. with a brewery like Scout in New Haven where you can actually try all these exotic beers? I'm too lazy to trek out to New Haven—not because I hate the place, but because I'm half-convinced the cops are gonna bust me one of these days. 🙂
Melissa Collins41 said:Look, coastalpanther11, as far as I can tell, only two bands have actually done this (I was at one show once, but I'm not exactly running a database on local musicians here), so... you got some secret intel I don't know about? 😬

Like you’re some kind of walking encyclopedia or something... 😛
Daniel Bailey7 said:total loser hippy😬

Don't make me kick your sorry emo ass🙂
You guys just stepped back into civilization and immediately hit the forums—good Lord,
. So, the festival was killer. Saturday absolutely blew Friday out of the water, mostly thanks to the pyrotechnics (a mix of pure chaos and Mother Nature’s own flair). The stage setup and sound quality were insane, and even the Department of Homeland Security presence felt spot on. Honestly, I think this event is going to be a massive turning point for unknown, and it'll finally force the local crew to realize just how much potential this kind of thing actually has. I’ve got a good feeling about it, too, especially since the Mayor of Phoenix showed up both days. 🙂

@Kevin Chavez3/">@@Kevin Chavez3: Look, I wasn't mocking your sensitive side. I was just hyped because at any major meetup from the "Music" subforum, you’re bound to see at least two people from our community making out in public. It’s beautiful. Love rules!

@Melissa Collins41/">@@Melissa Collins41: What kind of nonsense are you talking about? Who told you I was gossiping about ya:raana? Don't make me show up at your front door with a dagger...

Aside from the badges and the shirt, everything was awesome!

Nicholas Perez33 said:A liar, too.

Look, Goat actually resonates with me more. I was at that awkward, sensitive age when they first dropped, and then—God rest his soul—Baričević called me from the Army saying the Lizards were playing a gig in NYC. So there I was, me and the late d. Douglas, ditching some school play in the city to sneak off to the concert instead. And that’s just how it went down. It left its mark on my psyche. Since noise is basically just 😉 Šatro.
Man, everyone in this story is dead. Seriously, what a trip... 😢

Kevin Chavez3 said:I think "Pure" is absolute garbage. Just total trash. 😬

But man, "Goat" is a total masterpiece.
Emily Castillo81 said:I’m actually heading in that direction too. 😁 👍
😁

You're gonna end up being the biggest legend on that board. Grand master respect. I'm buying the first round. 🙂
PunkPen said:Wait, where the hell is Požega? 🤔 😁

What even is "San Francisco"? Poor souls... 🙂
Sandra Chase16 said:I think I might just drive all the way to Požega—gotta catch that Mad to The bon band live.

Here’s the lineup confirmed so far:
THE BEAT FLEET (Miami)
PO BOX (France)
LET 3 (Cleveland)
MAD SIN (Germany)
AGAINST ME! (USA)
RED UNION (SiCG)
ATHEIST RAP (SiCG)
STARVATION (Požega)
DEBELI PRECJEDNIK (Indianapolis)
AGGRESSIVE SNAIL ATTACK (Cleveland)
FIGLI DI MADRE IGNOTO (Italy)
READY KILLERWATT (Germany)

Since DOF keeps leveling up, expect an even bigger stage this year, fully decked out with pro lighting and sound. We’re talking a solid food situation too—plenty of options whether you eat meat or stick to veggies—and a massive bar so you aren't stuck waiting in line forever. During the day, we’ll have extra stuff going on, like soccer matches and a book promo about skate (sub)culture. (www.sergraphie.com)
Both days will feature a huge merch stand packed with badges, tees, hats,
CDovi and more from all the bands, plus the full Dirty Old Empire distro.
Ticket prices are coming soon, but let’s be real: that’s probably the least of your worries when it comes to deciding if you're hitting up this year's Dirty Old festival.

Igor says hi, and he mentioned there's info here even he hasn't heard yet. And it's his own damn club. 😁

Honestly, if you want to talk about how much Sean Lee7 actually plays soccer, just look at his busted up knees instead of listening to me.😈

Burnout 😂
Get 'em, girl! 🙂

Actually, why am I even chiming in? I've got skate shoes pretty similar to Robin Booth's, except I wear a size 13, so I end up looking like a total Stormtrooper in them.😁
