I’m not sure if anyone else caught this deeply uncomfortable detail that casts a shadow over the entire festival: the appearance of a figure named Karl-Heinz Dellwo, a former member of the terrorist organization RAF, which speaks volumes for those paying attention.

It's baffling how the organizers could overlook such an oversight, but in a city where the Crisis Management Committee is headed by a terrorism apologist like Pavle Kalinić, I suppose nothing is truly impossible.

I'm waiting for the dust to settle before I make a final call, but at first glance, it isn't the total disaster I was bracing for from your typical reunion act.

A lot has shifted since Burning fra Inside, but if we look past Murphy's solo runs, along with Tones on Tail and Love & Rockets, it could almost pass as the logical next chapter following such a massive hiatus.

But that effortless, liquid flow they had in the early Bauhaus days? That’s just gone...

I appreciate a lot of their work, though I’m not exactly a blind devotee.
On balance, they’re quite good.
It’s hard to pin down. Everything I’ve checked out—specifically the stuff following the Foxx era—tends to swing between being brilliant and being incredibly cheesy.
If we're talking about two albums that are both solid and deeply fragile, like Tin Drum & Gentlemen..., I’d call them good.
No Man's Land? It’s alright, I suppose, though it’s far too generic for my tastes.
When they hit their stride, they aren't just good, they are truly exceptional.
I can't say for sure.

Honestly, I don't really see how you could describe Tin Drum or Polaroids as "fragile"... you might have made that argument for Quiet Life or Adolescent Sex, assuming we're all using the same definition of fragility.😎

I might as well jump on the bandwagon and agree with Nicholas Perez33 on this one...

even if my personal take is that (with the honorable exception of New York City) the band really started losing their way once Foxxov left.

That second album, Systems of Romance, is an absolute masterpiece, though.!!!
