Look, if you really want to make this happen, I don't see why not. Driving out to Memphis to pick up that gear from Milton shouldn't be an issue at all; just give me a heads-up and we can coordinate the details.
I am planning on picking up that Cooler Master unit next week. If you aren't in a massive rush, you might want to wait until I can report back on whether it actually lives up to the hype or if it's just another disappointment.
In the meantime, here is a link so you can get a closer look at the specs:

If you're planning to run four fans up there... here is the link for you.
However, if I were in your shoes, I would probably opt for this specific potentiometer instead; it's more budget-friendly and, in my estimation, superior in quality—take a look!
Joshua Davis18 said:I am not particularly bothered by its retirement; the old 9600 Pro has served its purpose, and frankly, it is high time for an upgrade.
One must consider that this card still holds significant merit when overclocked, performing on par with the 9600 XT. I actually kept mine from my previous build—in fact, I still have it running today. I can play Need for Speed Most Wanted at maximum settings; while the frame rate hovers somewhere between 25 and 32 FPS, the experience remains perfectly smooth without any noticeable stuttering.😁
It isn't quite a buzzing sound... personally, I don't find it bothersome. I actually ended up ditching my liquid cooling setup because I was worried there might be some sort of defect, whereas this specific noise has been present since the very beginning.
I have just one question for you, since you claim everything on there is completely stock—do you mean it’s truly factory-original, or did you take some time to sand and drill things down yourself? By the way, this looks pretty slick when the lights are out.😉
If I were being serious, haha—but I wasn't; I just wanted to see how you’d react. I was teasing you a bit, though if you take me too literally, it ends up looking like sheer nonsense. Of course I already knew! And if this isn't meant for "ordinary people"... well, then what does that make us if we aren't ordinary? What kind of extraordinary people are we supposed to be!?!
Oh, one more thing... I happened to stumble upon some of your posts regarding programming... and I noticed you're aiming to study at MIT... where are you based, anyway?
I have no desire to engage in petty bickering, as online forums were never intended to be arenas for such trivial disputes; however, one must wonder if anyone here actually applies a shred of basic logic to their arguments. I simply posed a question regarding your level of understanding—it is hardly my place to presume what you do or do not know.
That is laughable. kHz has absolutely nothing to do with volume levels... dB—decibels, if you want to be precise—is what measures loudness. On the other hand, kHz is how we gauge the quality and frequency response of an audio output... 🙂
Claws, huh? Hilarious. That’s just some leftover junk from my old amplifier; right now, I’ve got it hooked up to my PC monitoring decibels and megahertz... I actually have another one lying around, but since it’s completely useless to me, I haven't even bothered setting it up. If I find the time today, I might head over to a local auto body shop to see if they can sand it down and give it a quick coat of paint, then I'll start hunting for some LEDs.... I swung by a Home Depot the other day, but they were completely out of 12V bulbs—it was a disaster. For now, I’ve just got two standard yellow ones inside the case, which honestly ruins the aesthetic of the build, but I installed a switch so I can kill the power to them whenever I want. To be honest, I ended up using two old incandescent bulbs because they were rated for 8V; since the power supply output is 12V, they run a bit hot, so I can't leave them on for extended periods without risking something. Anyway, I could use some help tracking down some LEDs—specifically the blue ones!🙂

LOL, man, that’s just the bare chassis. You’ll see how it looks once some body filler is applied, followed by sanding and a proper paint job... honestly, you have zero vision...heh😁 😁 😁
Good grief, I honestly don't even know what to call this anymore... every single time I attempt to upload, I make sure to select the high-resolution version, yet somehow it still fails to display properly!
Much appreciated!🙂 I am actually in the middle of prepping for yet another showcase today; I just picked up some VU meters, so I plan to mount them onto the front panel. I'll be sure to post a photo later tonight!!
I appreciate the help, placidcanyon2. I simply couldn't find a way to scale it up, even though it’s already quite substantial—I know this firsthand because I've attempted it myself before. Hehe.🙂 Thanks again!
