It’s a fantastic album; honestly, I’ve had it on repeat for the last few days.

Full disclosure: this track has been stuck on loop in my head all day, like it was blasting through my car speakers on high volume.

Yeah, I was. Honestly, I live for sludge, stoner, and doom, so their set hit me right in the gut. It was perfect.

The way they handled the removal in this video is actually pretty impressive: Ghost

Who actually has the time to listen to all that heavy music? I’ve been trying to pick up the pace lately—I'm averaging about two albums a day and doing some reading on them too—but even at that speed, there's no way I can get through everything I want to hear (let alone the stuff I don't even know exists yet) within my lifetime. If we're talking 700 to 800 albums a year, how many "essential" albums can there actually be before you die?
And it gets worse when you stumble upon an album inspired by a book, a movie, or some historical event and end up falling down a rabbit hole of research; it's a never-ending cycle.
Man, if I could just catch my breath for a second.
