I'm looking for a decent touch-typing tutor. I know I have some old software on a stack of DVDs somewhere, but honestly, digging through that mess isn't happening. Don't get me wrong—I'm not asking for Word or Notepad or any basic text editor. I need an actual training program. Something that teaches you the drill where the left hand stays on asdf and the right hand handles jkl; "
Just give me the name of a good one. I can find a download easily enough once I know what to look for.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Restart your computer, and while it's booting up, just hold down F8. From there, you're on your own.

I tend to jump between a few different setups myself: Traktor DJ v2.5 (honestly, 3.0 is a total disaster), FL Studio 4.1, Acoustica MP3 audio mixer, and Reason 3.0.
I stick with Traktor for my mixing—Serato just can't compete with it,
FL Studio is my go-to for actual production since it’s straightforward and comes loaded with effect plugins,
Reason handles my sampling needs,
and I use Acoustica for sampling because I like ripping bits out of tracks to build my own remixes.
That's pretty much the rundown.
P.S. If anyone actually wants to mess around with any of these, hit me up on the forums and I'll send over some download links (full versions, obviously).
