Go Pack Go!
..there's this interesting piece on ESPN lately about what would've happened if Rodgers had Bill Belichick coaching him instead.. 🤣 🤣
You can talk all the trash you want about Bank of America while you're staying current on those loan payments, but the second things go sideways—like if you hit a rough patch or miss a payment—they’ll be all over you. That signed agreement you handed them? It’ll be the least of your worries when they start breathing down your neck...😬
Look, I can tell you one thing... it's nothing crazy 😬
The biggest shift is that data processors are now going to have to actually put in writing why they're asking for certain info. They won't just be grabbing personal data because someone checked a consent box anymore; everything has to be backed up by actual legal grounds...
They aren't going to stop you from using your own cash, obviously... it's yours. But you're gonna find it pretty hard to actually do anything with it (besides just withdrawing it) if you don't hand over those details they're asking for 😬

If you buy 8 pounds of meat, whether it's a whole roast or pre-sliced, the total comes out the same.
That doesn't fly with banks. Seriously, explain to me what an "account maintenance fee" even means in the 21st century? Where exactly are they "maintaining" my account?
Off the top of my head, it basically boils down to things like server maintenance—you know, paying to rent space on cloud servers to keep the whole Bank of America system and all its software running. Then there’s the massive payroll for an entire army of IT pros constantly updating banking apps or buying third-party software just so we don't lose our minds when using an ATM. Plus, there's the legal headache of sending out statements, whether that's printing them at a Chase branch, mailing them to your house, or hitting up your email or one of those hundreds of digital channels...
..those are just three examples, and there are plenty more depending on what the customer actually cares about... honestly, I feel like anyone with a high school diploma could figure out what "managing an account" entails in the 21st century... 😉
