Nah, I was actually talking about glutamine. You told me earlier, slytrucker47, that you have to take massive amounts to see any real results, so I was wondering if just hitting 5g after my workout and 10g before bed would cut it. I get the deal with Whey.
So you're telling me 5g after training and 10g before bed isn't enough? Honestly, I only need it right after kickboxing because those sessions absolutely wreck me. I don't even think about hitting the gym as such
Can someone tell me if it's actually worth grabbing the Ultimate Nutrition 1000mg glutamine capsules (300ct) or if I should just go with the XXXL 500g powder instead? Which one is better quality? Is either of them even any good? They're both sitting at about $30 right now.
Do I actually need to take glucose with my whey if I'm already using Glutamine, or does that even matter?
I think you're spot on, that's exactly what I'm gonna do.... I was just asking about Mass Gainers because I looked at the macros and they didn't seem half bad... For instance, a 3lb tub of Weider Crash Mass Gainer is like $30 and it's got (23g protein, 64g carbs, and 3.3g fat).... Is that some kind of scam? Seems way too cheap to be true.
goldenfox24 ....I’m just wondering if this is actually a solid move: say I grab some WEIDER PURE CREATINE (95% protein) and L-Glutamine from Weider? Basically, I wouldn't even need to drink whey twice a day, just once after my workout... and also, what kind of results am I looking at if I just stick to taking a Mass Gainer?
Can someone please give me some advice on the best way to pack on weight? I train kickboxing and I eat a ton, but I just can't seem to put on any mass (I'm 5'11" and about 147 lbs). I have zero interest in hitting up a gym, so I want to hit my weight goals strictly through supplements. What do you guys recommend?
