Just hand him the cash. It’s the safest bet, anyway. Let him buy whatever he wants—that's how it works with everyone.
Alright, quick question for you guys. I'm running this motherboard http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.as...=N68-GE3%20UCC and looking at the BIOS settings. It’s got the UCC (unlocking CPU cores) option, plus CACC (CPU Active Core Control). But here's the thing—why isn't "core 0" showing up in my BIOS? All I see is core1, core2, and core3. Check out the screenshot; it makes it way more obvious what I'm talking about:
Like you can see right there, core 0 is nowhere to be found.
this mod is straight up legendary for real gamers 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
It shows me the forum homepage just fine, but then I click on anything and get hit with this "503 service unavailable" error
it’s driving me insane
Same exact issue here—can't even get the Reddit home page to load, and I'm running Mozilla
It’s driving me nuts 🙂
Oh, and almost forgot... I keep getting that "server is too busy" error message, especially on the landing page. It's happening way more often lately
Why am I seeing different temps between my CPU cores?
Like, one core is sitting at 35C while the other is hitting 42C?
BTW, I'm running an AMD Athlon 5200 dual core with a stock cooler. No overclocking here.
AMD Athlon 64 X2, bumped it from 2.71 up to 3.40 and it's holding steady (mostly). Still gotta tweak some stuff to see how the temps look
At 3.50 GHz the monitor starts acting possessed, so I might try bumping the voltage
Peace and happy overclocking
Got an AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core 5200 here. How much headroom am I looking at for overclocking?
running at 2.71 GHz
It's some old ASUS motherboard,1,25 GB of DDR RAM, and yeah, it's an old Socket A-462 setup. Everything in the BIOS under processor settings is just greyed out, so I can't change a damn thing.
I heard something about shorting certain CPU pins to unlock the settings, but I have no clue how to actually pull that off.
So I've got this Sempron 2200 running at 1500MHz and I'm wondering if there's any way to crank up the speed? Tried messing with the BIOS, but the multiplier is totally locked
Anyone got any ideas? Help a guy out 😁
