Best protein powders for muscle gain? in Hobbies & Leisure ·
So, here’s what I had for breakfast today: some six-grain cereal with milk, yogurt, a little bit of those milk chocolate cookies, and an apple. Is that overkill?
I think I mentioned something earlier about wanting to really tone up my legs and whether I should be adding protein or whatever to the mix. Honestly, I don't know much about any of that stuff. Anyway, the goal is weight loss. I’m hitting aerobics about three or four times a week—is that not enough?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by wanting to look "tight." Are you trying to drop some weight and tone up your legs?

If you want strength, you train. If you want to lose weight, you manage your diet. You can certainly buy protein powder if you want, but honestly, you'll see the exact same results whether you drink them or not, so I don't think they're a necessity for you.

Personally, I never recommend them to anyone because they always mess with my digestion. Someone else might tell you they're life-changing, but once you try both ways, you'll realize the results are identical.

Right... then why does everyone bother drinking them if the result is the same?

I usually stick to the hydraulic machines at the gym, and honestly, they feel great.
But my goal is to get my legs looking tight rather than just soft.

You've got carbohydrates and pure proteins (count the amino acids)
The real question is what's the goal here and how do you plan on using them
But I'm assuming you're hitting the gym...

So, if you're set on getting something, here’s my take

Grab a 100% whey isolate or maybe an anabolic whey blend, and you'll definitely pack on some mass

Look, I'm an 18-year-old girl and I just want everything to look tight. Can you recommend any proteins?
