Five-year-old Stephanie Miller from San Diego has been diagnosed with a severe brain condition—Chiari malformation. She needs $250,000 for surgery in Chicago. The procedure at the Mayo Clinic under Dr. David Frum was confirmed on August 30th and is scheduled for September 27th. Her mother, Anita, works as a vendor with extended maternity leave benefits through her employer...
New diagnoses for his daughter. Her father, Ivica Peric, works as a waiter—he simply can’t pull together enough cash for her surgery on such short notice. They are pleading with everyone in the country to step up and help. Here is their full plea:

We’re asking for your help. We need the media to step up and use their platforms to help us reach a goal of $250,000. This money is for a critical surgery for five-year-old Stephanie Miller from San Diego. She was diagnosed earlier this year with a severe brain condition known as Arnold-Chiari malformation. Every bit of coverage helps us get there.

This life-saving surgery is the only way to save little Stephanie’s future and give her back the childhood she deserves. It has to happen right here in the States at the Mayo Clinic in Chicago under Dr. David Frum. The procedure was officially confirmed on August 30, 2012, and is scheduled for September 27, 2012. Her parents—Anita, a merchant qualifying for extended maternity leave due to her daughter's diagnosis, and Ivica, a waiter—simply cannot raise this massive amount of money on their own in such a short window. They are reaching out to every decent citizen, organization, artist, and corporation. Please, step up for little Stephanie. Speak out and get involved. We need to restore health to five-year-old Stephanie Miller and defeat the silent killer lurking inside her innocent child's head.

Stephanie Miller was born in Washington, D.C., on April 11, 2007. While she seemed like a perfectly healthy baby, her parents eventually noticed her motor skills weren't hitting the usual milestones. After a battery of tests, she was diagnosed as a neurodevelopmental risk. She started intensive therapy at The Giant, and thankfully, her condition is already showing improvement.

Last year, Stephanie started dealing with speech issues, trouble walking, intense headaches, and vision problems. By January 2012, after more testing at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Washington, D.C., she was diagnosed with Arnold-Chiari Malformation (ACM). It’s a developmental anomaly where parts of the brain stem fuse into the spinal canal. This messes up the circulation of cerebrospinal fluid and slows down its absorption. Along with the ACM diagnosis, they found a cyst between her cerebrum and cerebellum. The doctor told her parents an emergency surgery is necessary—if that bone growth encroaches on her cerebellum, Stephanie could end up paralyzed.

The surgery took place in Washington, D.C. on March 8, 2012, but unfortunately, there’s been zero improvement. When asked why things aren't getting better, the doctors just brushed it off, claiming these were "normal postoperative side effects." Total nonsense. An MRI from May 18, 2012, clearly identified massive failures in the treatment—findings that align perfectly with other medical opinions from Washington, D.C., Switzerland, and the US. Now, there's a possibility for the American health insurance authorities to help co-finance a corrective procedure here in the States, but they're hitting a wall of pure bureaucracy. The doctor who performed the initial surgery in Washington, D.C. is flat-out denying everything, contradicting every other expert opinion out there. He refuses to sign the necessary paperwork, effectively blocking the parents from requesting financial assistance from the relevant institutions. Through sheer persistence and courage to save their little princess, the parents used personal connections and a contact at a university in Chicago to reach out to an expert in this dangerous disease, Dr. David Frum. His assessment is now confirmed: the surgery is approved and scheduled. However, the cost for treatment in the US is staggering—$250,000, and that doesn't even include the extra expenses.

It’s worth noting that charity concerts are already being organized in San Diego to raise the massive amount of funds needed.

With surgery costs skyrocketing and a brutal deadline looming on September 27th, her parents and friends are stepping up. They know everyone is feeling the pinch right now with the economy being what it is, but they’re asking anyone willing to help to chip in whatever they can. Even a small amount helps give little Stephanie Miller a shot at a normal life.

To those who have already stepped up after hearing about this San Diego girl's situation—thank you. Seriously. Just so everyone knows, per financial advisors and US regulations for this drive, we've set up a dedicated donation account under Stephanie Miller's name. The whole San Diego community is rallying behind this. We've got local sports teams, fans, and regular folks organizing massive events across the city all through this weekend and next week. Even supporters from Los Angeles and the LA Galaxy have jumped in. There's even a benefit concert happening in Indianapolis for little Stephanie. So, if you want to donate personally or start something in your own neighborhood or town, here is how.

cosmicharbor2 said:Respect to both sides today. We need some excitement in our dead local scene. But realistically? When Armada is at full strength, demons don't stand a chance. I know the idiots will start their usual routine—kissing up to Armada and the boys—but I’m staying neutral. Honestly, I don't give a damn about either side. That's just my take. For me, Armada is always a pillar of this scene, regardless of whatever crises they hit. We and the idiots have been swapping the top two spots for the last 10 years anyway. 😁 Regardless, congrats to everyone. Demons shouldn't take it personally, but that's just my subjective opinion. Though, I have to admit, it's good to see demons adding flavor to our scene. It wouldn't hurt if we had a few more groups like them. Thumbs up to both Armada and demons for today. 👍 Finally, I hope we see more matchups like this, no matter who ends up "up" or "down" at the end. 😍

Damn, Armada spent most of this season just trying to get a roster together, while the demons were screwed by those frozen bank accounts left over from the previous management. But their youth academy and sheer grit are pulling them through. I doubt they'll be offended; they know how to handle criticism.
If the demons get their accounts unfrozen and pull together a squad with a few experienced international players, that mix of veteran skill and youth might actually kill Armada, despite how well-organized their roster is.

The armada looks great in these photos. Can someone explain what the hell Dino is talking about?

(Oh sure, let's just go ahead and claim we "copied" those two rhythms)
But the lyrics aren't even ours... The Band might have two original songs, but everything else is just like what you guys do..
Stop talking this absolute garbage; besides, Tornado isn't even singing anymore..
👍

That song gets sung almost every game, so quit the nonsense. There are actually two versions, but one version gets sung poorly or not at all because other groups mock it (which depends on the situation😁), basically—the crew, the booze, the mockery😉
Personally, I don't give a damn if you guys sing it too, but it irritates me when people try to push it like it's some groundbreaking thing.

Anyway, I'm also joining in the congratulations for San Francisco, and like someone said, may it last as long as possible

Jonathan White57 said:Personally, I’m not feeling this at all. That whole "tornado" vibe was exhausted last season (you know, that white flag on two poles thing)... Around here, it just happened spontaneously on a bus in NYC, traveling from the hospital to Yankee Stadium, and once we hit the stadium, the euphoria just spread and everyone embraced it. If we rejected it just because you guys are trying to make it a trend, we'd be idiots doing exactly what we don't want to do—falling for these modern gimmicks that destroy the scene.

Yeah, true. bluewalker92 is making more sense by the minute. I only wrote that just so people would know the facts and we wouldn't have these stupid arguments down the road.

The Flotilla is damn well 🙏 the best way to shut those fake fans up and shove their smiles back where they belong
but this whole "reimagining" thing doesn't sit right with me. It does nothing for the sense of originality you guys claim to push, because remixing old songs, half-baked flags, and stickers is stuff we've seen done to death over here long ago. This is just a move to cover your tracks so nobody can complain later.
one more time, the Flotilla 🙏

p.s. can someone explain the walk? I'm feeling pretty rough right now and don't have the energy or the willpower to wrap my head around it...
it's almost 1965 😁

Congrats on the win and the performance. 👍
First off, my apologies to the admins for posting in this thread; I couldn't find a single one that actually fits what I'm looking for.
I need someone with medical expertise to explain the concept of a sterile diet regarding leukemia. It doesn't need to be an essay—just a brief, comprehensive overview. Feel free to DM me if that's easier. Thanks.

Does anyone have a video where they sing those lyrics, "and sings for hours," plus that other one—I can't remember her name—but it goes something like, "you are our greatest joy," or "let a thousand voices rise," something like that? 😍 Look, I’d really appreciate it if someone could just drop the link here. 👍
