Just a quick question for the group...
Is it actually possible for my ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE (ALP) to spike like this just from taking antibiotics?
Here’s the deal: I had a nasty sore throat, so my doctor put me on some Augmentin. She was actually suspecting I might have mono... so is it plausible that my liver enzymes shot up because of the meds?
My labs from a week ago (March 5th): ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE 845 U/L
Today's labs (March 12th): ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE 510 U/L
Normal ranges:
Men: 60 – 142 U/L
