Psoriasis [PLEASE READ FIRST POST!] in Health ·
placidbadger10 said:thanks for all the replies🙂

Right now, it’s just showing up on my elbows and my temples,
so it isn't exactly a disaster, and I've made my peace with it.
Tanning beds actually help me out quite a bit!
I'm wondering if anyone here has dealt with psoriasis personally, or knows someone who actually managed to clear it up... even if it was just for a while?
Because it seems possible... you can get it under control for a few years where nothing shows up at all!

I heard there's some good badger fat ointment available over in Des Moines, and you can get $33 100g 👍 of it
Lost weight AGAIN! in Health ·
Emily Barnes78 said:Lose weight? It’s easy—I’ve done it countless times. That’s actually my whole problem.

So, ever since I hit my early 20s (and now I'm 33), I've been quietly sliding into this endless cycle of losing weight and then just packing it all back on. In the beginning, a 10-pound swing felt totally harmless, but over time, those numbers just kept climbing. I’d drop the weight, only to gain 30 or 40 pounds right back.

I can't do this anymore; it's absolutely draining me both mentally and physically, it's ruining my quality of life, and most importantly—it's seriously messing with my health. Every single time I finally "fix" my figure, I tell myself I'll never let myself get that out of shape again, but every single time, I just end up lying to myself.

I’d love to hear from anyone who has dealt with this same struggle and actually managed to break the cycle—people who have maintained a steady weight for at least a few years without these massive ups and downs.

I lost about 25 pounds two years ago just eating rice, and I held it until this winter, but now I've gained it all back. I just couldn't say no to homemade bread; I love making it, and I have plenty of people to feed. I'm 31 now, so I've started a cabbage soup diet to see if that works.😢
