Great, now why don't you give me the full breakdown—calcium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, iodine, potassium, copper, selenium, manganese, vitamins A, B, C, E, D, and whatever else is hiding in there—tell me exactly how much is in this food you're making, whether it's percentages or milligrams?

😁 😁 😁

mistybear4, can you tell us what your background is, please? Like, what did you actually study?

😁 😁 😁

Come on now—why don't you just read us the nutritional breakdown straight from the label of your little turbo-super-mega supplement bottle? 🙄 Do you honestly think none of us here have dealt with those shady "snake oil" salesmen before?

Don't bother laughing at me.

I don't know the percentages; but you didn't even ask.

I don't know the exact percentages; but you didn't ask.

Yeah, you're right, I see you've realized it isn't even important... 🙂 (sorry about those emojis)

What I was actually trying to point out is the simple fact that nowadays we can't be entirely sure what we're actually putting into our bodies; sure, we have choices—eating fish versus pork, grabbing fast food or a salad twice, white bread or whole grain—we can make plenty of decisions ourselves, but no matter how hard we try, there's no way for us to know exactly how much of everything is in our food to meet our daily requirements for vitamins, minerals, fiber, and so on... it's become an entire field of science involving years upon years of research, and if everyone here puts their faith in doctors and pharmaceuticals, I personally prefer nutritionists and their products... though ultimately, what swayed me were the actual results I've seen firsthand in people over the last year and a half. 🙂

"mistybear4, could you tell us what your educational background is, please?"

After I finished medical school, I basically packed up my tools and moved into construction....... 😁 😁 😁
Joking aside, my degree is in civil engineering, but that doesn't have anything to do with what I'm doing now.. 🙂

"Now, why don't you read those values off the label of your turbo-super-mega supplement for us? Do you honestly think none of us have dealt with snake oil salesmen before?"

Despite having high degrees and being a highly educated person, I see you haven't quite grasped the point of the question I was asking Hannah Davis18 (who, credit where it's due, understood perfectly), and all your credentials don't impress me enough to change how I perceive you, regardless of you bringing them up.. 🙂
I truly respect anyone who thinks for themselves, and in this day and age, all you really need to learn something is a bit of goodwill, an open mind (and heart), a genuine hunger for knowledge rather than just titles, a little logic, and
a low ego... which you seem to be working on... 🙂
I'm not sure who here is selling smoke—the person dealing in facts, or the one peddling "opinions"? 🙂

Honestly, throwing those diplomas around doesn't really impress me enough to change how I perceive you, despite your efforts to use them as leverage... 🙂
I have immense respect for anyone who actually thinks for themselves! In this day and age, if you truly want to learn something, all you really need is some genuine willpower, an open mind (and maybe a heart too?), a real thirst for knowledge—not just a collection of titles—a bit of logic, and
a low ego... which it looks like you're still working on... 🙂
I can't quite tell who's out here selling smoke—is it the one sticking to the facts, or the one peddling "opinions"? .. 🙂

🤣
You can take your opinions about me and my education and shove them—seriously, just forget about it.
And you still haven't told us what you're actually selling, 😉 besides a whole lot of nothing.

okay, I get it fine; the whole point is you're claiming it's impossible to eat right without using the supplements you're selling.👎

Hannah Davis18 said:I finally caught on; you're basically arguing that eating a decent meal is impossible unless people buy those pills you're peddling.👎

I guess I misread the room, my mistake, but that isn't really what this is about...
Up until early 2004, the World Health Organization used to suggest supplements as an option, but since then, they've been essentially signaling that if you actually care about staying healthy, supplementation is a necessity. They aren't just saying this to be dramatic; they're looking at the rising statistics of chronic illnesses caused by the massive vitamin and mineral deficiencies found in the processed junk we call food today.. 😢

I’m just trying to educate people, or rather, appeal to their common sense, though whether you choose to listen or ignore me is entirely up to you—just like which specific vitamins you decide to go with is your call. For the last time, I am not selling anything, so let's move past that. 😎

Honestly, I'd be much happier if people would finally contribute something useful or constructive to this thread; it's getting pretty tedious reading these empty comments. If you don't have any actual knowledge or experience to offer, there's really no point in chiming in with nonsense.. 😁

Well, we're waiting on you too; hoping you'll finally say something concrete instead of just reciting stuff like you memorized it from a textbook.

Alright... we're drifting a bit from the main topic here. My doctor actually just prescribed some allergy meds today—he thinks my skin should clear up in about ten days or so if I stick to them... they're called Claritin. And, naturally, he gave me the standard advice to try and stay calm and avoid getting worked up over things...

Of course, barely thirty minutes after stepping out of the clinic, some cop pulls me aside and starts lecturing me about the photo on my driver's license... damn Murphy and his laws 🙄

I was just thinking—maybe I should try my luck with the Powerball... clearly, my odds are looking pretty good right now... Not that anyone else has ever had zero issues with their skin while dealing with three busted knees 🙄

Gregory Turner71 said:I’m telling you, I should probably just go buy a lottery ticket... clearly, my luck favors the long shots... And honestly, if I had three bad knees acting up right now, nobody would even blink—but apparently, having skin issues is where everyone draws the line! 🙄

And that is precisely the headache with psoriasis. It seems to pop up in every fourth person you meet—seriously.
We actually managed to dig through some old family history only to find out some great-grandmother "had a little something going on with her skin." 😠 Ugh, I absolutely loathe that attitude! I’d much rather take a photo of my condition and deal with it than live in total ignorance just because some old-fashioned relative thinks being sick is something to be ashamed of and hides it away. 🙄 Honestly, forget that outdated mindset.

mistybear4 said:it seems I jumped the gun—a total miscalculation on my part! It isn’t even about that...
up until January 1st, 2004, the World Health Organization was merely suggesting dietary supplements; however, since that date, they have been essentially issuing an appeal—that is to say, stating that for anyone truly concerned about their health, taking supplements is absolutely ESSENTIAL... and they aren't just saying this for the fun of it, mind you, but because of the rising statistics regarding illnesses caused by vitamin and mineral deficiencies resulting from the poor quality of modern food supplies ... 😢

🙄

You seem to have overlooked the fact that we are talking about developing nations here. In the "developed" world, people go overboard with all sorts of supplements—spending billions of dollars on them—whereas for Third World countries, the amount needed to cover one person's vitamin requirements costs a mere 12 cents. Yes, seriously, just that little. But, oh well, it is much easier to peddle expensive products to lazy Europeans and Americans with just one of your little sermons—because helping the hungry across the globe doesn't exactly yield much financial profit, does it?

I am simply educating—well, appealing to people's awareness—and whether or not you choose to listen is entirely your decision; and if you do decide to heed that appeal, which specific vitamins you choose to go with is also your call... I am not selling anything, so please, for heaven's sake, get that through your heads once and for all... 😎

And how exactly are you "educating" us, if I may ask? You've just memorized a handful of phrases and you keep repeating them over and over again.

I would be most delighted if people would finally post something educational or constructive here; it’s getting quite tedious reading these empty comments... if you can't contribute something meaningful through actual knowledge (or experience), then please don't bother with this nonsense... 😁

Unlike you—who just spouts slogans straight out of a Herbalife's daily "enlightenment" seminar—there are actually people here trying to share their real experiences and genuine knowledge. Every single person battling an illness learns something along the way. If you find this boring, then I wish you the best of luck elsewhere.

Look... honestly, I'm not even surprised your great-grandmother would hide something like that—especially when you consider how many people still avoid anyone with psoriasis today just because they're afraid of catching it.🙄

So, I went digging through the forums and couldn't find a single thread specifically about eczema? Then it hit me—some of my relatives (aunts, cousins, whatever...) kept insisting it might actually be psoriasis instead.
Basically, for a few years now, I’ve been dealing with these... well, let's call them eczema patches... popping up on my elbows, the backs of my knees, and my ankles. And honestly, I just lived in ignorance about it until I read this tonight and seriously started wondering if I might be a victim of psoriasis too.
I was wondering if anyone here knows much more about eczema, and if there's any actual link between the two?

I'm curious if anyone here knows more about eczema and whether there's any actual link between the two conditions?

So, what's the professional medical opinion on all this?
