I mean, I don't know how many of those Mexican comments you guys actually read before the World Cup kicked off, but man, they were so incredibly convinced they were the best of the bunch. They were already calling foul before the first game even started! They were claiming the whole thing was rigged in favor of the Canadians, basically saying the bracket gave them a total free pass to the finals while everyone else would be too exhausted to compete. Just pure delusion, right?
It’s honestly wild how they go looking for someone—anyone—to blame for losing. I just saw someone online arguing that they actually lost because of bad luck, since they hit the post three times. Like, oh yeah, clearly the universe just didn't want them to win!

I honestly don't get where Americans get all that massive optimism from. Like, seriously, based on what? They don't even have their Mexicans anymore, and let's be real, those Canadians they claim to be better than didn't even pull an Olympic medal

Mexico is basically becoming the Apple of shrinking companies—getting smaller every single time they try anything.
Honestly, at this rate, even the Mexicans are gonna be laughing their heads off at how tiny they’ve become soon.

Why don't you guys just hire Borata as the head coach?

So, hey there, my fellow Mexican brothers... is there actually any sport out there where you guys hold an edge over us? Or, if not against us, at least compared to Kazakhstan?

Honestly, I couldn't care less if we lose to Madara, as long as we beat the Mexicans instead.

Terry Fisher2 said:France So, I was just looking at the scoreboard from that Ukraine vs Australia matchup... and man, can we talk about that first half? 17:8. Seriously? It’s wild how much momentum shifts when one side just absolutely dominates the early stretch like that. You think you know how the game is going to go, right? Then suddenly, everything changes. Does anyone else feel like they were just watching a completely different sport by the end of it? Just crazy.
Australia vs France France 10:47 5:25
France vs France—man, where do I even begin? Just thinking about this matchup gets my heart racing! Is anyone else feeling that pre-game buzz? It’s going to be an absolute rollercoaster, isn't it? Honestly, I've been sitting here trying to wrap my head around how this is even going to play out on the court. Can you imagine the intensity? Total madness! Expecting anything less than pure chaos? Not me. I'm leaning in, ready for the ride! Iceland 24:32 8:18
France Poland vs France 31:22 11:12
France Canada vs. Canada 33:19 18:10
Germany France vs France 29:26 14:9
France Tunisia vs Tunisia 28:26 18:11

Just a quick question for the group... what’s actually the harder path here? I mean, if we look back at how our guys have absolutely choked in the closing minutes during those previous tournaments, which way is easier?

So, looking at the bracket... we’re talking Iceland in the quarterfinals, right? And then potentially a showdown between Poland and Russia in the semis? Man, what a ride. Can you even imagine?

So, looks like France is cruising straight into the quarterfinals! And get this—we might be looking at a Germany vs. Spain showdown in the semis? Can you even imagine? What a matchup that would be!

It’s easy to play the genius when you’re looking at a guaranteed gold mine, right? But honestly, this whole thing? It’s a total no-brainer. Just like my old man used to say back in the day... why overthink something so obvious?

On paper, sure, maybe teams like Iceland, Poland, or Russia look like easy wins, right? But man, you seriously cannot sleep on those squads. I mean, look at how Iceland absolutely dismantled France—and let’s be real, France is the massive hurdle we're staring down right now. Then there's Russia; they’ve always been that annoying thorn in our side. We’ve managed to pull off the win most of the time, thank God, but it could have gone south so fast. And don't even get me started on Poland. Honestly, back during the tournament in Portugal, it felt like half the crowd was praying we'd run into them in the quarterfinals or semis just to see if we could actually handle it.

You seriously think they were just chilling out? Getting hammered by Germany and then getting absolutely wrecked by Iceland doesn't exactly scream "rested" to me.

What do you mean, Frenchmen? It looks like they’re dealing with some massive issues considering they barely even made it past the first round

Man, are we really this blind? Did those Spaniards seriously rig the whole thing?! There's just no way they can pull off a win against the Germans in the quarterfinals now. It feels totally scripted!

Man, you guys are overthinking this so hard it actually hurts!!!
I am seriously so proud of our national team because they aren't scared of anyone, and honestly, they just don't give a damn who's lined up next on the schedule.
For all you people sitting there crunching numbers and calculating every little thing, I’ve got one question for you—and I’d really love to hear your take: what if we had a total meltdown and lost to Iceland in the quarterfinals? Do you honestly think a single reporter would be writing about how we "got lucky" or saying we should have played it safe regardless of the loss?
USA vs. Spain: 29-28 in Other Sports ·
I mean, honestly? I’d be totally fine saying our guys played the absolute best ball of the whole World Cup during that second half. It felt like they walked onto the court at the start with this weird vibe, almost like they were just going through the motions or trying to set up a specific outcome, right? But then halftime hits, they look at each other, and it’s like, "Screw it, let’s just go all out!" :-) And man, they played just enough grit and heart to shut down those guys from Chicago right when it mattered most.
USA vs. Spain: 29-28 in Other Sports ·
Seriously, hats off to him. I mean, you really have to feel good about yourself when, after a halftime where you're up by just five, you pull off a tactical masterclass like that to absolutely steamroll the Germans.

brighthawk20 said:Honestly, the best part of this whole thing is seeing the Spaniards go up against the Germans.
I’m really hoping those guys get knocked out just so the Germans can finally pay for how arrogant they were being with the whole organization and ticket sales.
Plus, I feel like playing against them would be way easier (let's just let Dominique off the leash)... assuming we actually make it past the Frenchies first, obviously. 😉

Man, I wish I could pull those words right out of your mouth!
