You're spot on. They run on DC while pulling from AC. If it weren't for Tesla, we wouldn't have either. We'd be running to the store for bulky batteries that would die in an hour. Actually, we wouldn't even have that, because mass-producing laptops and TVs wouldn't be possible. We'd be living like our ancestors did 200 years ago, maybe trying to warm up chicks with 40W light bulbs and buying new batteries every single day. Oh, Mr. Edison, thanks so much for the DC. 😁

Thanks! I guess I’m just getting a bit worked up because my transfer hasn't cleared yet, even though I sent it yesterday. Wouldn't you think an online payment would be instantaneous these days? To make matters worse, I paid two different bills; one triggered a confirmation text immediately, but the other is still showing nothing.

Let's not forget that we owe our entire modern lifestyle—everything from our TVs and laptops to massive industrial factories—to the alternating current pioneered by Nikola Tesla.

The direct current pushed by Thomas Edison is still useful, sure, but it's mostly relegated to things like remote control batteries, handheld gadgets, and portable power cells.

It feels like most people still don't grasp just how monumental Nikola Tesla's legacy truly is, so I can only hope this movie finally presents him in the light he deserves.

We've seen plenty of documentaries and biographies over the years, but we have yet to see his story told properly on the big screen.

I'm still getting my bearings here, so I have a few questions.

Can an authorization code contain up to two hyphens, effectively splitting the numbers into three distinct groups?

For instance, if someone writes an authorization code like this: 02 040512 1234 03

Would that first "02" actually be the payment model rather than part of the authorization code itself?

There's absolutely no reason to waste your time calculating columns b and c. Just let STDEV handle everything.

In Excel, you just need the STDEV.

By all means, set me straight if you still think I've got this wrong, though I highly doubt it. I've already run these formulas against four different sets of data, including two straight out of an American statistics textbook.

mean = 5.7

i = 1, 2, 3
n = 3

Result: 2.08

Plug it into the Formula, do the math, and then double-check it in Excel.

After losing my work once or twice because I rushed through closing a window and accidentally hit "No" when the prompt asked to save—which, honestly, who hasn't done?—I can say this is a lifesaver. It’s an excellent way to ensure you actually have a backup version of your file sitting somewhere else, even if you mess up the original.

Are you actually planning on using photos for your poster?

In my opinion, posters should really be designed using vector graphics software.
If you want something free, go with Inkscape.
If you're willing to pay, then there's Adobe Illustrator.

I'm currently working on some scriptwriting. Just yesterday and today, I've been hitting Ctrl + S to save my work, just like anyone else would.
Does anyone else deal with Microsoft Word crashing three separate times right after hitting the save shortcut? I actually had to rewrite my entire text from scratch.
Is this happening to you too whenever you try to save a document using the keyboard shortcut?
