Greetings, I have a bit of a question regarding medical logistics. Suppose I give birth somewhere other than my permanent residence—let's say my home base is Chicago, but the baby is actually born in Indianapolis, where we'll be staying for about six months. If I go ahead and register a pediatrician there in Indianapolis, would I be able to switch back to a pediatrician in Chicago within that first year? Also, regarding the mountain of paperwork involved, would I need to file anything officially, such as updating my residency status in a different city, or can I just let things be?
Greetings, I have a bit of a question regarding medical logistics. If I happen to give birth outside of my primary residence—let’s say my official address is in Chicago, but the baby is born in Indianapolis where we might be staying for about six months—and I go ahead and register a pediatrician there in Indianapolis, would it be possible to switch to a pediatrician back in Chicago within a year? Regarding all the paperwork, I don't intend to report a change of residence or alter any of my official filings.
Does anyone happen to have any recommendations for a wedding celebration for about 50 guests, perhaps somewhere along the route between San Diego and Savannah?
Does the symptom onset count as day zero or day one? For instance, if I start feeling under the weather on a Wednesday, does that mean I’m officially clear to head back out next Wednesday?
Well, thanks. I suppose... though I can't help but wonder if it’s even possible for me to fall back into that same pattern again, and honestly, I truly hope that isn't the case.
Hello there, I actually recovered from my bout with it back in mid-November 2021. Now, my little guy is showing symptoms; we have an official PCR test scheduled for this coming Friday, though his rapid home test came back negative. Has anyone else here been in close contact with someone infectious shortly after they themselves had already cleared the virus? According to the current guidelines, I don't technically need to isolate, and I'm not heading into the office anyway, but I suppose I wonder—did you all choose to self-isolate just in case, or did you mostly carry on with your lives, perhaps running errands while wearing a mask and such?
Does anyone happen to know a priest out in California who might be open to performing an outdoor wedding ceremony? I suppose I’d have a bit of a preference if they were located within the Zadie area, if such a thing is even possible.
Greetings! Is it actually true that small business owners don't have to pay tax on their savings interest? I mean, where on earth could I find some official documentation regarding that?
I am reaching out to see if anyone might have some insight or perhaps firsthand experience regarding the process of settling—or ideally, being exempted from—withholding taxes on interest from Italian bonds. We recently acquired some corporate bonds issued in Italy, and following our sale, we were hit with what is essentially a residual tax on the realized interest income. I suppose my question is, given that there is an existing double taxation treaty in place between the US and Italy, wouldn't we be eligible for an exemption from paying that specific tax? Is there a way to reclaim it, or perhaps avoid it entirely next time?
Honestly, this movie is an absolute riot. I’d say it’s easily twice as funny as Superbad, and if you haven't seen it yet, I really think you should give it a shot.
I was wondering if anyone could perhaps shed some light on how power of attorney works here. I’ve already managed to get my certificate and card sorted out, but I suppose I still need to have the power of attorney notarized for the registration process, right?
Also, regarding the IRS—do they require just one single copy of the power of attorney, or am I going to need all three copies? And, I guess, would we actually need to show up in person to handle this, or is it possible for someone else to go on our behalf?
Personally, I didn't find it particularly special either. I actually managed to guess who the killer was, and honestly, the whole thing felt okay enough until you got to that aftermath, which was just completely pointless. Plus, I felt like a few scenes went a bit overboard, especially when it comes to all that blood and gore.
Personally, I found it rather underwhelming; nothing particularly special about it, I suppose.
It seems to drag quite a bit right around the halfway mark, and I have to say, they really stumbled when it came to the countdown on the bomb and how they transitioned through those interludes.
In our current setup, we’ve configured the software so that any acquisition of goods or services from the European Union or other foreign countries—along with the corresponding transfer of tax liabilities—gets funneled directly into our regular UR. The VAT essentially calculates itself automatically; we just added some extra columns to track those specific tax obligations within the ledger and linked everything straight to the VAT return form.
Beyond that, we actually went ahead and built a dedicated registry specifically for these acquisitions. We haven't done anything similar for domestic tax liabilities, so I suppose I'm wondering whether maintaining these separate records is a legal requirement, or if it's more of a "nice-to-have" feature for our own peace of mind, given that the regular UR handles all of this quite smoothly anyway.
Regarding the import of goods, we haven't actually had any imports since joining the European Union, but the process still flows through the standard UR. Once the new assessment methods are fully implemented, our software should support this via the regular UR as well, but I guess the question remains: even if the system supports it, are we actually permitted—or perhaps expected—to maintain a separate registry, like a specialized Import Ledger, for goods coming in from third countries?
