Take photos from the front, half-profile, and full profile; then check again in a month, and then at three months. You'll see the changes much more clearly that way.

That’s exactly why I’m trying to be so thorough with my research. At the end of the day, the nose is the centerpiece of your face, and I have zero interest in ending up looking like a disaster post-op. But knowing that the swelling subsides and the shape evolves, there's really no reason to spiral into a panic. Money isn't my main concern here; what matters is having the right information, ideally straight from the source, before I commit.

And there is also this website http://allthedeals.com/

where a clinic http://cityhealthclinic.com (Vinko Borčić) was recently offering rhinoplasty at a major discount—it might be worth reaching out to them to see if they can still work something out 😉

Thanks for the reply! But I'm a bit lost on what a "functional surgery" actually entails regarding that nasal septum. If I were to get it tweaked, I wouldn't want much; I don't have a hump, and my nose is shaped normally enough, it just isn't pretty. I've never liked it myself, even though other people don't really notice anything "ugly" about it. Then again, I'm not looking for one of those tiny, upturned button noses—just something slightly smaller. Does that mean the septum has to be messed with too, or am I totally off base here? Either way, being able to pay by credit card is a huge plus for me. Thanks.

I’m looking for some advice here. I live about 40 miles outside of Washington, D.C., and since I don't know my way around the city or the local club scene very well, I'm feeling a bit lost. I am seriously considering enrolling my three-year-old daughter in rhythmic gymnastics. Is it actually possible to sign kids up at such a tender age? Also, what does a typical monthly training schedule look like—do they usually hold sessions on the weekends? Price isn't really my main concern; I doubt the fees will be astronomical, but I really want to find a reputable, well-established club. I just need to know about the quality of the program and the training days. If anyone has any firsthand experience or insights, I’d truly appreciate it. Thanks!
northernmaker84 said:Girls, I could use some advice 🙂 So, a couple of days ago, I went in for a nose job consultation with Dr. Zambelli in Cleveland. The whole thing lasted about 15 minutes. He showed me a few photos of cases similar to mine, did a quick check to see how my breathing was, and all that jazz. His take is that he’d only operate on the tip—leave everything else alone—and fix my breathing since there's some thickening on both sides. Breathing isn't really an issue for me; my main goal is aesthetic, though I figure if I'm doing it, I might as well fix the breathing too. But honestly, I don't just want the tip fixed; I actually want to lower the bridge a bit because my nose feels way too high. I’m thinking about getting a second opinion, maybe from Glumičić, just to see what his take would be. Has anyone here had surgery specifically on the nasal tip? He mentioned it wouldn't change my profile much. At the end, he rushed through asking if I had more questions because he had another patient waiting in the OR. I wasn't exactly blown away by the consultation, though I don't doubt his skill. Still, I feel like seeking out one more opinion is the move. What do you guys think? And FYI, for those wondering, consultations are $83, and he quoted me 2200 dollars for the surgery (probably a flat rate for everyone). Thanks, ladies!🙂

Whoa, that's a lot of money. Does that price apply to all surgeons there, or does it vary? Also, can you pay in installments, or is it strictly cash? Thanks.🙂
So, I’ve been kicking this rhinoplasty idea around in my head for years now, but I could never quite pull the trigger. Now, though, I’m actually starting to put some real money aside.🙂 I’ve been scrolling through all your posts—the glowing success stories and the horror tales alike—and honestly, it reminds me of going to the hair salon. One stylist can absolutely wreck your hair, while another works wonders for a friend. Only, we aren't talking about a bad haircut here; a nose is a much more permanent deal. I’ll admit, there’s a bit of fear involved, but right now, my main focus is the bottom line. If anyone wants to dive into a discussion specifically about the cost, I'm all ears. Generally speaking, what are we looking at for a nose job? I realize the price tag depends on a million different variables, but does anyone have a ballpark figure for a standard procedure—something just to make the nose slightly smaller? Thanks.🙂
