Well, it looks like the news about Fred Astaire finally broke! Sadly, it didn't happen until this fall, which is a bit of a bummer since the group that signed up last year is already winding down. I’ve been getting myself all worked up and excited for this, though, so I’m really looking forward to it! Thanks so much for keeping me in the loop. Bye!
🎉, thanks jadetiger962. I'll definitely give you a shout if I manage to track down a club where they aren't just stuck on the usual ballroom stuff like waltz, rumba, or samba, but actually focus on hip-hop and those kinds of styles instead.
So, I’m 29 years old and I’ve been thinking about finally signing up for some hip-hop classes, but I can't help but wonder if I'm a bit behind the curve. Is there a dance studio in New York City that actually welcomes older women into their hip-hop programs? To be fair, I’ve always been pretty athletic—I actually hold a black belt in karate—so I’m fairly confident that I could pick up the fundamental moves pretty quickly, regardless of my age😍.
