What can you even say about them? They’re packed with mutants—guys like Baloo and all those other exotic types (not an insult to Black players, let me be clear)—their defense is solid, sometimes even elite, and their offense is versatile. They’re tough, sure, but they don't hold a candle to the Spaniards.

I’m thinking we end up in the bronze medal game too—God willing we make the finals just to secure a medal and avoid finishing in fourth place again.

When Balic started today, I was definitely second-guessing things at first—lost in my own head for a moment. Thankfully, it didn't turn into a disaster where I had to carry the entire load myself like it did against the Russians. Today, we actually had some solid teamwork to lean on.

Personally, if we play defense this poorly against a Frenchman or a Spaniard in the semifinals, we don't stand a chance. I’m genuinely worried we're going to see a repeat of last year's final performance.
