It’s funny how you always manage to drop these bizarre takes, acting like Robert Kubica is the one at fault 🤷 instead of acknowledging why Sebastian Vettel actually messed up ☕.
Calling Robert Kubica an amateur? Please. And calling Ferrari 😢
is just plain ridiculous.
Jamie Price said:I decided to get myself up at 6:00 AM, just in case anything should happen... 🙂

haha, me too 🤣
And when exactly is this going to start picking up some real momentum? 😬
ironfalcon43 said:🤣 Oh, please. Let's be honest—you already know you don't stand a chance against us.😂

Feel free to root for BMW; I have a feeling they’re going to pull off something special tomorrow.☕

BMW is just too slow.
Noah Anderson said:On Sunday, 2:00 AM becomes 3:00 AM.
I’m curious to see what my fellow forum dwellers think about this whole mess.

My take? It’s absolute nonsense!

Here’s why: This Sunday, the sun is going to hit its peak at 1:00 PM instead of the perfectly logical 12:00 PM. Our internal biological clocks have been synced up with the sun for millennia, not with some arbitrary administrative invention, and you can bet your life that everyone is going to feel the fallout, even if it isn't obvious right away.

The tourism industry is going to take a direct hit from this too: we end up forcing our guests to sit down for dinner at seven, even though it’s still perfectly pleasant enough to be lounging on the beach. Then, at eight in the evening, the patio shows start. Who in their right mind is going to lure a guest out to a terrace when the sun is still practically hovering above the horizon? And here’s the kicker: at midnight—which is actually only 11:00 PM—some busybody is going to start screaming, "Turn that music off! Don't you realize it's midnight?!"

There was a pearl of wisdom in today's USA Today: some lady used the fact that her two-year-old son usually wakes up around five in the morning as her main argument for why this is a good idea.

So, one last question for the group: does anyone actually know who decided to introduce Daylight Saving Time, when, and for what possible reason?😍

calendars and all that junk
vividdriver13 said:If they manage to snag a few wins for VN, just imagine how much the heads at Honda will be clutching their hair in panic! 😂😂😂

Why would they even bother stressing? If they were still stuck with that Honda engine, they’d probably be fighting just to stay out of the cellar. 🤷
Gary Palmer8 said:Man, you really are deep in that hateful rabbit hole regarding Hamilton, aren't you?

People have already been telling you that Hamilton lost his fourth gear... and honestly, once he clocked that remaining time, he actually beat Heikki—who basically just finished his lap after crossing the line one more time.

Maybe try learning how to count, LOL

P.S. It’s not about being racist; it’s just that Hamilton is a total slippery character and honestly isn't even that much of a driver.
ironfalcon43 said:That is quite a vocabulary you have there.🙂 There really is no need to insult such a gem.☕

Look, I'm not trying to insult anyone here, but let's be real—Hamilton and Alonso are just two slippery characters.
Morgan Murphy7 said:If they just handed out penalties to Ferrari and Red Bull too, they might actually land Alonso in 6th place.😁

What is Alonso even doing? Honestly, that guy is such a joke; he won't even crack the top twelve.
Morgan Murphy7 said:I didn't manage to upload it

Why on earth did they put those two from Toyota at the back of the line?🤷

That flexible spoiler
stormybadger8 said:The race is actually at 6 if you're going by current time😉

but tomorrow at this same time, it'll be 7😉

Damn, you know, I could honestly just sleep through an entire hour of the race and still feel like I didn't miss much—so thanks a hell of a lot for that. 😍
John Bennett4 said:Even if it is just the livery, at least the color is actually decent—a far cry from that tacky, cheap Italian red they always seem to use 😂

Look, Italian craftsmanship is about actual quality, not just flashy paint jobs, and honestly, do you even realize how hard it is to land a date with an Italian woman? ☕

Jebemu, I’m already dreading having to drag myself out of bed at 7 AM,
not to mention if TBF decides to pull another all-nighter and keeps us up, if we want to stay ahead of the curve and predict things before they actually happen.
placidsurfer9 said:honestly, the whole damn McLaren team is just for show! 🙂

You aren't wrong; McLaren is nothing but all show and no substance. 😂
placidsurfer9 said:Yeah, having gearbox issues is definitely a bad look... especially if that obnoxious colleague isn't dealing with the same crap... kind of like how they were stuck in those same crappy conditions at Monza last year... and so on... ☕

The gearbox is just window dressing.😉

Toyota duo excluded from qualifying

Timo Glock and Jarno Trulli have been stripped of their grid positions for the Australian Grand Prix for a flexible wing infringement.

Glock had qualified sixth on the grid, with Jarno Trulli two places further behind, for their Toyota team at Albert Park.

However, following post-qualifying technical inspections by the FIA, it was found that the team's rear wing elements were in breach of the rules.

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/74008

Basically, Toyota drops to 19th and 20th, while Lewis moves up to 18th.

It’s finally happening, it’s actually going down. 🙏
Joshua Thomas84 said:The gap is only three-tenths of a second. You really think Barrichello is running on a full tank?

I honestly think he’s got a bit more in the tank for a few laps because he was consistently outperforming Jenson Button, and then you see him fading out on the rear telemetry.
What’s the deal with the fuel situation???

And is Barrichello actually going to give Button a run for his money, or is he just spinning his wheels?
ironfalcon43 said:Well, Ferrari is always among the favorites, but whether they are the main ones to watch... we'll just have to see.😳
BMW—they seem to be hiding something; they rarely showed up to testing with multiple teams, so I'm not entirely convinced by their speed. They claim to be incredibly fast, so they'll have the chance to prove it.😛
In my opinion, Toyota could be the biggest surprise of the season; I've got a feeling about them.🤷
I don't believe that either Williams or Red Bull are particularly fast; I don't see them at the top, though perhaps I'll be proven wrong.😁
Brawn GP—everyone is talking about them being the heavy favorites for Sunday, but personally, I'm not buying it.☕
India and Toro Rosso—definitely the weakest teams in the championship; for them, every single point feels like a victory.🙂
McLaren—there is a lot of chatter about them falling behind, and their recent testing results seem to support that, but I think they are too massive an organization to fall so far behind that they can't fight for points. Even if there are issues, I'm confident they will fix them very quickly and McLaren will be right back at the top where they belong.😉

Fuck !!!! I won't say anything for Renault... simply put, I don't believe their car is as fast as people are making it out to be. Because of Fernando Alonso, I really wish I was wrong.

Look, I remember when Ferrari was basically just a glorified trash can for bad ideas, but look at them now. It just goes to show you that even the heavy hitters, those massive giants everyone looks up to, can stumble. At the end of the day, everyone has access to top-tier engineers. This whole sport is really just a high-stakes engineering war—a constant battle of who can build the most perfect machine. It’s only a matter of time before the guys at McLaren and Ferrari slip up; it's not a question of if, but when. 😉

A massive Ferrari fan is heading to bed, so goodnight to everyone. 😁
ironfalcon43 said:That sounds more like wishful thinking to me... reality usually tells a different story,😉 I suppose☕

That’s just my take on things, having followed every single development from the jump.
- Renault feels like they've totally fumbled it—it honestly seems like they didn't deliver what was promised, much like BMW.

McLaren is in the same boat, though I still expect them to hang themselves with the top eight.
Ferrari—they seem pretty self-assured; they were consistently at the front during all the testing, so that's how I'm anticipating them performing on race day.
Toyota and Williams have actually done the best job here, and I'll throw Honda into that mix too if they turn out to be as fast as they look.

As for BMW—honestly, I think they're going to be the biggest losers of the year.

I also have this nagging gut feeling that qualifying isn't going to mean much for this particular race, but hey, that's just me talking.🤷.

So yeah, that's my rough summary.
