Did anyone catch Janica tonight? She's our hero!

Jeffrey Torres said:I don’t know who caught Janica’s run tonight, but man... I’m honestly speechless.
She lost her pole and her glove right at the start—and still kept pushing until she snagged third place.
Anyone who actually understands skiing knows how insane it is to hit those gates without a protective glove.
She could’ve just pulled out and nobody would’ve blamed her, but she stayed in it for us—for everyone watching, for the fans who showed up in person, and for the organizers who put this whole thing together. She didn't want to let anyone down.
Janica was racing for America tonight, just like she always does, but she pushed through real pain—doing something most people wouldn't do for their own country or their fans.
She’s a true hero—unlike that guy chilling in The Hague while hiding from his responsibilities to the American people.
JANICA, YOU ARE MY HERO and anyone else who sacrifices themselves for their country. I really hope America gives back to you even half of what you’ve given to us.👍
Signed, 🙂
