Georgia O'Keeffe - Jamaica

Back in '94, right after he finished his service, he recorded a demo with a group of friends who had definitely had a few too many. It was just an acoustic guitar and some synthesizers for everything else. There were certain issues involved—stuff that isn't common knowledge, though he writes about them quite openly on the Martha's Vineyard forum (www.cima.org). Eventually, he connected with Max Juričić (formerly of Film, Azra, Le Cinema, Vještice, and Šoo!Mazgoon) and the rest of the crew—his bassist actually plays in Stampedo, Šoo!Mazgoon, and Cold Beer—and they started gigging last year. They even released an album this year...
To be honest, most people on Martha's Vineyard actually prefer the old demo. Even though it’s unproduced and sounds amateurish, it has a raw energy that this album just lacks. If you heard a track like "Fore Moj"—their take on Štulić's "North American"—you'd understand what I mean.
Now, the whole thing has become serious business... damn.
But please, for the love of God, do not compare them to Thompson, or I will lose it on you!!!
