Honestly, you really shouldn't have gone stripping out those one-line Windows updates because that’s exactly what happened to me, and I ended up having to wipe everything and reinstall Windows from scratch just to get Windows Media Player 11 running without any errors again.
I’ve run into a bit of a snag here and I’m really hoping you might be able to point me in the right direction. I managed to grab a copy of Windows XP Pro 64-bit edition, but I am completely stumped on how to actually make it bootable so I can get it installed via DOS or just through standard Windows XP SP2 methods. I've got an Ultra ISO file, but honestly, that software is such a pain to navigate and I'm feeling pretty lost with it.
