The vulnerability of Catholics versus the privilege of the LGBTQ+ community...

What are the actual odds that two gay men would face physical violence if they showed up at a football game or headed to a Johnson's concert?
And what are the chances a Catholic will get jumped just for participating in the Eurovision Song Contest selection?

Let them burn it all. You aren't wrong.
They were burning books across Germany in 1936, and what happened? Nothing. The German government didn't go around locking everyone up for it.

Rachel Cooper3 said:Politicians—both dead and living, from Bozanić to whoever else—have been getting burned for years, yet suddenly there's this massive panic? Interesting.

That’s because this isn't about politicians.
It’s about a minority that doesn't threaten the majority.
Politicians are the ones who actually threaten the majority.

Just imagine if you were an American in St. Louis and people were publicly burning an effigy of an American. How would that sit with you?
What kind of emotions do you think a gay person feels when they see something like this? Wouldn't they want to flee while they still have the chance?
Or consider how a child growing up in a same-sex household feels watching this unfold?

Rachel Cooper3 said:Honestly, neither side really bothers me—it’s just the blatant double standards that get under my skin. Why is one thing treated as perfectly normal while the other causes a massive uproar? Especially among those who seem to live for Frljić's antics.
Bauk is filing criminal charges. 🙏
Look—it’s all because of some performance at a carnival, during that time of year when people lose their minds and dress up like superheroes or animals. Honestly, what is wrong with everyone?

Matthew Young35 right back at the front of the line—as per usual. ☕

I’ve officially lost my mind—so I guess I'll be watching Frljić's play. 🤣
The act itself is designed to provoke a reaction from a specific crowd—how or why that matters is secondary.

How exactly are we supposed to take this whole "burning gay couples" thing—seriously, though?
A warning to all gay and lesbian couples out there—stay inside if you know what's good for you. You're just asking for trouble out in public. 🙄

And here is a perfect example of what I’m talking about—Matthew Young35 really missed the mark on that one.

You didn't watch the play—so, quite frankly, you missed the point. The narrative runs much deeper than that, and it requires actual comprehension; the fact that he’s messing around with certain elements is completely irrelevant.
On the other hand—
This burning is serious business—it’s not some joke—and it does nothing but damage our kids and our global reputation..

I’m just going to tell you one thing—you didn't exactly nail that carnival performance. ☕

Exactly.
You caught my drift perfectly.

Rachel Cooper3 said:He isn't burned out—but seriously, what kind of twisted vision did Frljić have, portraying Jesus raping a Muslim woman?
The coverage was handled with genuine enthusiasm—presented in a way that felt both cutting-edge and incredibly engaging. Why settle for anything less? ☕

Well, you obviously watched it, so you can testify to what actually happened.
And naturally, you don't see anything problematic about portraying the burning of homosexuals—or even an adopted child—as something positive and funny.

Paul Sanders5 said:Matthew Young35, look, if your kid doesn't show up at school, you’re gonna get a call from the counselor or the front office by like 10 AM asking what the hell happened. But if the cops catch you? If they find out you're hitting your wife or driving without a license, you are absolutely screwed. In this country, the government has basically washed its hands of everything; everyone just acts like these problems don't even exist. Aside from the locals who have to deal with all this crap, nobody gives a damn.

That is precisely my point.

And do you know who suffers most alongside the locals?
The Rom community.

I can already see you spinning this into some narrative about me being a leftist or some other nonsense, but that isn't the issue here.
The issue is that the state simply refuses to enforce its own laws.
Do you honestly believe it's beneficial for the Rom community to live among violent criminals?
Or do you subscribe to the idea that they are all inherently dirty, lazy, or criminal from birth, and therefore it's better to just lock them in their ghettos and let them fend for themselves?

Paul Martinez73 said:Are they letting you drive around without a license? Beat your wife? Let your kid stay home from school?
You already answered your own question; the state basically gives them a free pass to do whatever they want while being more tolerant toward them than anyone else. In other words, the majority is being discriminated against to favor the minority. That's why people call for police and strict penalties—because when things go sideways in Ohio, it's only natural to wonder where the hell the government is.

What you fail to grasp is that these people end up discriminating against the Rom community itself—their own children, their women, and the more vulnerable men among them.
Everything is just left to descend into chaos, and then suddenly, everyone wants to take a moral stand against all of them, both the good and the bad.

It’s unlikely anyone would complain about laws being enforced, though you can bet a few progressives would find something to whine about—whether it’s police body cams, forced relocations, or who knows what else some academic would dream up.

No sane person opposes the enforcement of the law.
Take this current case, for instance: they’re going to arrest this man who killed his wife, and if he’s guilty, I hope he goes to prison. Who is going to protest that?
Who would object to him being locked up for domestic abuse prior to this, assuming that was the case?
Nobody.

The idea that they are allowed to break the law just to appease some "leftists" is absolute bullshit.
The reality is far simpler: the state simply doesn't care about them. It’s basically: "Here is your handful of social security checks; now stay out of our way and figure it out yourselves."

That’s precisely the point.
The government couldn't care less.
They look the other way when Rom children are kept out of school, they turn a blind eye to domestic violence, and they let people drive around without licenses...

Then, the moment things actually go south, the reaction is always the same: "Oh, it's just those minor groups again."

Zero tolerance?
Hardly. They show the exact same level of indifference they show everyone else. To suggest anything more or less than that isn't equality—it's discrimination.

Paul Sanders5 said:Back in the Midwest again 🤣

Total freak accident 😬

Man, if you pulled the same stunt at a rally in Times Square, there’d be protests all over the place and the EU would be breathing down our necks with some massive condemnation 🤣

What exactly would they do?
It seems to me there would be a reaction regardless, especially if things played out the way is being implied between the lines.

On the other hand, what's your take on the threats involving knives along the Potomac? Is that just more minority issues?

Fifteen years ago, sure, there was a logic to it. But nowadays? When high-speed fiber makes streaming 1080p effortless and sites are always online, I honestly don't see the point in hoarding files locally. 🤔

But what if your router dies and you’re stuck waiting until tomorrow?
I'd rather be safe than sorry.
Eight terabytes of handpicked drives—then you're ready even for a total nuclear blackout.
Look, you have to prepare for the worst-case scenario. You can't just expect everything to work perfectly all the time.

Lawrence Kim said:I looked through System32 and I can't find anything you mentioned. And honestly? I have no idea what you mean by "boots and horses." Is that some kind of weird joke or something?

Fair point. That stuff can definitely eat up a massive amount of disk space.
🤣

Lawrence Kim said:-I deleted that stuff last night, but it wasn't worth the effort. I messed up my math by confusing KB with GB, thinking it would make a difference, but it only freed up about 0.20 GB.

-What's even worse? I turned the computer on today, checked my storage, and realized I actually have 2 GB less free space than I did yesterday.

You could try limiting the page file.
Clear out your system restore points.
Uninstall anything you don't actually use.
Empty the Recycle Bin.
Delete the directory C:/windows/system/32/hr23ggedhidge8ege363738/video/opaticeIKonji

I'm out of ideas beyond that.

I can't think of a single reason why that would be considered risky.

Lawrence Kim said:Since I'm running dangerously low on space on my C drive, I've been trying to find a way to clear some room. Standard disk cleanup isn't really cutting it, so I went looking for advice online and stumbled upon a specific method on YouTube:
Go to This PC/Local Disk (C)/Microsoft/SoftwareDistribution/Download
-and they say you can go ahead and delete everything inside that 'Download' folder.
Based on the file size listed there, deleting this would free up a massive amount of space, but I'm hesitant. Is it actually safe to wipe all of that? Does anyone have any insight or advice?

It's perfectly fine.
Those are just the Windows 10 update files that have already been processed.
