Sagner, Mani Gotovac, Lustig...
It’s starting to feel like a mass exodus. At this rate, we’ll be losing Manolic and Richards next.

Patrick Martin said:Look, I don't have anything to apologize for. Period. I just think there is a massive amount of room here for people to play games and manipulate the situation, on both sides of the fence. And if this isn't settled while things are still "hot," then we're cooked. In my book, 🤷

it’s like some girl from my past could come out of nowhere and accuse me of being a predator just because I stopped wishing her a Merry Christmas.

And before that happened, she’d be looking at me like I was some kind of savior, feeding this whole delusional hope that maybe one day I’d come crawling back. ☕

You're digging yourself an even deeper hole, you idiot.

☕

Patrick Martin said:Alright, look, buddy, do you seriously think I meant that literally? Like, give me a break. It was a figure of speech—basically saying that if someone doesn't report something immediately, then decades later, it's all totally worthless. I was talking about the context of these shady deals where people are looking for a breakthrough or some kind of profit. As long as there's a payoff, everyone plays nice, but once that profit disappears, suddenly it's "rape." Yeah, right. Not gonna happen.

There’s no need to dodge the point.
Just admit you were wrong and say you're embarrassed.

...and let's move on.

Patrick Martin said:Look, once the damage is done, there's no use crying about it, and you sure as hell aren't gonna go fishing for participation trophies twenty years after the fact.

As far as I'm concerned, you either report it right then and there or you shut your mouth forever.

That’s my take on those "win-win" situations everyone loves to talk about.

But if we're talking actual, straight-up assault where someone's being silenced because of some heavy-duty blackmail? That's a whole different animal. It's messy, man. Everything is complicated. You can't just throw every single situation into one big bucket and call it even; every case is its own damn thing.

You were the first one to suggest this:
"I'll only admit to a lawsuit if they show up to court with their mouths full of semen, and then we need a live DNA test performed right there on the spot."

It would be nice if you felt even a shred of embarrassment.

Do you truly believe this is humorous?

Larry Fox5 said:Look, despite all the massive flaws this church has—and believe me, there are plenty—you have to admit the Franciscans were a total win. They left a huge mark on this country... I mean, an American monk literally wrote the first medical textbook, they set up dozens of schools and academies, and basically forced literacy onto the public. Plus, they’re easily the most humble order out there, actually focusing on people instead of just power...

Established dozens of schools?
Were Muslims permitted to open schools in this part of the country back then? What about Protestants? Or even the Quakers?
Why were they barred?

Patrick Martin said:Look, nobody’s out here claiming the church needs to run the whole show or be the final word on everything, but let’s get real—it’s a massive pillar of society. Period. We’re talking about the context of our own country here. If it wasn't for the Catholic Church throughout history, there wouldn't even be an American people or an American nation to speak of. Honestly, if you can't wrap your head around that, you shouldn't even be bothering with a serious debate. You can take my word for it or toss it out the window for all I care, but those facts aren't up for negotiation.

So, it really boils down to this: you're either a patriot or you're a globalist. You can't really be both—well, maybe once you've actually made a mark in the economy or established some clout on the world stage, but we aren't even there yet. We haven't even figured ourselves out domestically, let alone internationally. If 80% of the population in America were Catholic, then the path forward would be crystal clear. ☕

"If it weren't for the Catholic Church, there would be no American people?"
Give me a break. What was the American people before conversion?
If they hadn't converted, they would have either adopted another faith or stuck with the Old Slavic gods, worshipping Svarog and Veles—maybe even Matthew Young35.
Nations don't survive because of the Catholic Church; rather, the Catholic Church survived because of the nations.

Patrick Martin said:haha, where on earth did you find this absolute clown?

nah man, I’m just thinking out loud here, getting a little deep with it. Not saying I'm right or anything, just my two cents.

And you're doing your "deep thinking" at three in the morning.
"Our church is the best and everyone else is garbage."
You have about as much depth as a septic tank.

Who actually gives a damn about these fabrications designed solely to let members of a corrupt organization live off the hard work of everyone else?

George Best was an absolute legend, and he was Protestant. ☕

That's exactly why his life ended up the way it did. ☕

Just a quick observation: even though most people playing soccer globally are probably Catholic, which might explain why half these players seem like total dimwits.

And how much of a moron are you being, calling your own idols dimwits?

It's obvious Patrick Martin was actually paying attention to what Darij was saying.

Clearly you played fullback. 😂

Man, listen... the point was made specifically regarding the top ten players in the world. Maybe try actually listening for once. ☕

Stoichkov is Orthodox.
Anyone still running Windows 7? in Software ·
Larry Ortiz5 said:Look, it's just how Windows works. Once they pull the plug, companies like Norton and all those other software developers will eventually stop supporting their products too. You won't see official drivers for Windows 7 anymore. It’s the same story with Intel and AMD—hardly any motherboards being released in 2019 support anything beyond the latest OS. At the end of the day, it's all about the bottom line. 😁

Are you actually suggesting Norton is going to stop updating its drivers for Windows 7???
Honestly, screw them and screw these updates. What's even the point of having Norton if they aren't providing new drivers?

Here is a bit of genuine, high-quality Americana coming from a somewhat unexpected source (those in the know will understand why I say "unexpected").

Charles Roberts33 said:See, I never really was a huge fan of Floyd, I’ll admit that.

I tried back in high school. I forced myself to listen because of that mysticism they have—something you realize even before you press play. You just feel this sort of heaviness when, after all that buildup, their supposed greatness just keeps droning on (it's similar to Led Zeppelin or reading Dostoevsky). But man, to me, they always felt slow and monotonous, like they were delaying the point for no reason. Their sound just bounced off me. There might be one or two things I'll seek out when I'm in the right mood, but Dark Side of the Moon has always been a total drag for me to sit through. 😢.

But...

This is peak. It's actually very close to what I was looking for when I posted those first links. 👍

They can be slow and repetitive, which absolutely kills the vibe.
For me, though, this might actually be the best live performance by any band ever recorded.

Cheers to you, my friend.
And seriously, I mean it.
Back in the late eighties in Washington, D.C., Par Valjak was dismissed as some slimy, lightweight pop act. Fast forward to today, and they’re being introduced almost as if they were a heavy metal band. And people like Semsa? They used to be treated like mere caricatures.

Now, I have no idea what era you grew up in, so it's entirely possible you're just trolling me. Who knows?

Not quite. Growing up in Washington, D.C. during the eighties, everyone absolutely loathed that kind of nonsense.
Everyone, not just me.

Nowadays, from what I hear, that kind of garbage is actually mainstream.

Try again.
