Coach lost the game. Šprem is out, Vori is in, and we’re up by three. Then the rhythm just falls apart—Vori totally rattled Omejer. Sorry kids, there's no coming back from this in a game like this. But whatever, we move on. We need to find some reinforcements for those positions held by Balić and Laci if we want to be number one again. As for Lino, he’s not playing anymore; it's all mental at this point. Too bad.
I’m still standing by what I said back during that 2003 match against Portugal: those guys were absolute HELL. If most people actually fought on the field the way they do in their lives, there wouldn't be nearly as much whining.
Every single street needs a monument for the Hell squad, Janica, and the rest of our legends.
It’s already "goodnight" over in Korea according to the Olympics schedule.
Same old story. It’s us against the world.
He’s training at the Rose Bowl today. They really should have charged him more for using those facilities.
Duje mentioned today that he doesn't care about what those South Africans decide and claims he knows nothing about it, though apparently one of the big reasons was that intense Qatari relay.
"Go ahead, just keep dreaming."
Now Duo is posting as Moe.
Did you catch him on TV?
I'm heading out to San Francisco this Saturday to cheer on Duja.
So, our guy Duje is basically the biggest joke in the world of swimming right now. One of his excuses was that Qatar was putting together a powerhouse relay team and he just wanted the challenge. Well, good luck to him training that relay with the women's team now.

Check Index or The New York Times.
Did you guys catch what Neethlingov said about that offer from Qatar? Man, what a legend.
Word on the street is that Qatar reached out to Shoemen and Neethling, and maybe even salo Ilesha too, but there’s zero news about anyone actually signing anything—unlike our guy Duje. I wonder how much they're putting on the table for the South Africans if Duje is pulling in $5,000,000?
Word on the street is that Phelps is the only millionaire in the States. So where’s Hansen? Where’s Persol? Where’s Crocker ?... Now Duje is out here demanding millions just for two silver medals. If $500,000 feels like pocket change to him, imagine what Ančić and Ljubičić would need to pull in for the Davis Cup. People claim they don't need the money, but those two are grinding all year long, traveling the globe and hitting mediocre shots on every continent, while Duje only graces us with an appearance once a year.
First time posting here, so I figured I’d jump into the conversation. People keep bringing up other athletes moving abroad, but I don't recall a single one of them being a national icon like Duje. Some folks mentioned how swimming lacks big clubs or major meets, but those specific meets were exactly how Kožulj made his living. I remember seeing him crush two autos in just a two-week span—you do the math on whether you can actually make a career out of swimming. Duje would show up to one big meet a year, and that single appearance would pay the bills for the whole season. How do I change the "just learning to write" bit under my username?
