I think I'll pass. For some people, even years of experience won't help;
they're just a lost cause, 😉

By the way, maybe the Americans will get their revenge in the finals 😲
You have to admit, playing against them wasn't exactly a walk in the park.

That goal was pure insanity—he caught them from such a weird angle, I honestly didn't think he'd pull it off.

Just a little bit of dreamland said:P.S. Man, Šola was absolutely spot on when he was talking about the TV coverage before the game. He basically said, "The Mexicans have nothing left to lose..." And honestly? He’s right. They can't move any further in the bracket, but they know they'll get a massive hero's welcome back home if they pull an upset against us. But for us? If we slip up and lose to them, it’s a total disaster. We don't just lose the semifinals; we get absolutely crucified by the American media and fans because we let them win. It's a double loss, plain and simple. 🤣

Man, I am telling you right now—cars are absolutely insane! Seriously, just look at what's happening out there on the roads. It’s getting ridiculous! 🙂

Caleb is a beast. Period.😁

Those Mexicans love getting under Americans' skin more than a monkey loves bananas.🤣

frozentiger6 said:Here are the latest updates, boldhound8, I just checked the stats

Yeah, but I’ve covered everything
Here’s a quick C/P with the updated numbers😁

Balić is our third top scorer, though everyone ahead of him is basically just a penalty specialist... 39 goals, 63% conversion rate

Balić is also sitting at second in assists for the league with 24🙏

Sulić is easily the dirtiest player according to this damn stat sheet😲 I don't get all these heroics and abbreviations, but apparently, this guy has 9 yellows, 6 red cards, and 25 fouls😁

Balić is the biggest ball thief out there... total of 13, or about 2.2 per game🙏
Šprem is sitting at 8th with 7 blocks

In terms of blocks, Pero is only 8th with 6, even though we push him to do it constantly...

When it comes to lost possessions, Balić leads the pack, which is enough to land him in 4th—maybe 3rd if you count it as 3.8 per game. Pathetic, honestly😠
😁 For every one of his turnovers, the rest of the guys commit five legit ones😉

Šola
is the 5th best keeper in the league with a 37% save rate🙂 basically 13 saves per game

Anyway, I was bored so I figured some of you might actually care

Keep in mind, this is all based on the first 6 games... today's action isn't in the system yet

He scores from a dead angle? No way. I honestly didn't think he had a prayer of pulling that off.

That’s a goalie's goal right there.🙂

But seriously, massive props to Šprem... for that one and the other eight he tucked away.🙂

Look at how much he's tensing up. Anyone else getting the feeling he’s about to burst?

I spent half the game watching on ESPN... I just couldn't stand listening to that idiot whining about the officiating. Man, Sulić absolutely murders the guy... then Bozo is like: "Yeah, obviously he's calling it back to the 9-meter line, why are we even surprised?" Unbelievable. 🙂

Honestly, I love it when our neighbors give us props. It’s a real sign that we’re actually doing something right! 🙂 That commentator was laying it on thick—maybe even a little too much—but man, he really went for it! 😍

The second he took the shot, I was practically screaming, "NO WAY! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?!?!?!?"

But then that ball hits the back of the net... I was just stunned.

Man, that goal from such a crazy angle... I honestly didn't think he'd pull that off!

And oh my god, did you see how Sterbik was dodging those shots from sprevom? Like, he could've caught every single one of them easy... but nope, he just throws his hands up like a lady and gives a little wink instead lol.😉

The guys totally had a plan...🤣

Yeah, I find it hard to believe Sterbik would just let nine goals slip in from the wings, especially against someone like Sprevom.

The truth is, Sterbik is actually at his best when he's dealing with those specific types of shots. He’s handled much tougher wing shots from Sprevom before.

But honestly, there was just no motivation there. I caught his interview on CNN after the game, and he sounded completely lost—he said he didn't even know whether to laugh or cry. Who knows what was going through his head.

A little update for you all:
The news over at CNN:
'Americans are too much for us' — honestly, I love seeing headlines like this. 😍
.......
Just a quick note on our grit 🙄
20 American fans clashed with two locals, resulting in 10 Americans being detained. 🙄

Honestly, whether you're an American or a Mexican, everyone’s just wasted right now. Once they sober up, they'll be back at it tomorrow, hugging each other and heading straight back to work for Kurt.

They didn't get beaten up; the police just rounded them all up. Now, because of their actions, everyone else who showed up on those buses is getting kicked out of the US tonight. 😁

What absolute idiots.

We’ve pulled off five wins out of six matches, landing us right back in the semifinals of the European Championship. And thankfully, we still have Peter leading the charge; sure, he’s a bit high-strung lately, but there’s nobody else quite like him.
Peter is guarding the net just like he did during the 2003 World Cup, though Ivan is actually looking even sharper now than he was back then. Our wing players are finally finding their rhythm, and I’m certain Mirzinho is going to be at his absolute best during these next two games. Essentially, our style mirrors what we saw three years ago at the World Cup, except this time we aren't blowing teams away by six goals; instead, we seem to be messing around in the final five minutes—probably because the guys are placing bets on those exact scores, which wouldn't surprise me given the crowd they run with.
When you look at the big picture, this squad is a phenomenon, something truly rare in the world of sports, and I'm not just talking about handball. These guys are still playing for the pure love of the game, and when it comes to defense, I'll say it again: it's all about heart and willpower. I think the world is going to see in the semifinals and finals exactly how handball defense is supposed to be played.
My only concern is what the betting lines will look like and whether they'll end up testing my nerves again.
It would also be great if any of the fans following them all the way over in distant Switzerland would check in on this forum so Vanya can give them a little pep talk.

Yeah, I mean, it’s hard to ignore that kind of math—twenty people against just two. It definitely shifts the balance. 🙄
We certainly showed some courage...
