I typically rely on a combination of Kamagel and Synopen ointment—plus Pips spray as a preventative measure (for instance, before heading out to Central Park)—which seems to hold up for a little while... though for extra precaution, I find slathering myself in white vinegar works wonders. 😬 I actually gave that a shot recently after a lady suggested it, and honestly, it’s incredibly effective; the mosquitoes won't even come near me. What’s particularly interesting is that, contrary to my expectations, you don't end up smelling like a salad dressing afterward.
