I was thinking about this today while watching some old highlights. There’s a specific kind of psychological pressure that comes with being part of a roster where you never quite feel settled. You can give it your all, play your heart out, and build chemistry with the guys in the dugout, but there's always that nagging feeling in the back of your mind that you might be packing a suitcase by Monday morning.

It’s easy to talk about "professionalism" and "staying focused," but I honestly don't know how people do it. How do you actually enjoy the daily grind when you know your entire situation could be uprooted by a single phone call from the front office? I’ve had jobs where I felt like I was just waiting for the axe to fall, and it completely changes how you interact with your coworkers and how much you invest in the long-term goals.

I feel like some people thrive on that uncertainty, treating it like a game, while others just spiral. Do you think it's actually possible to stay mentally locked in when your livelihood is essentially a revolving door?
Hair Donation: Where should I go? in Health ·
Greetings. I must apologize for digging up such an old thread after all this time...
I have quite a bit of length to my hair, and I am planning on getting a significant haircut in the near future. Does anyone happen to know where one might donate their hair here in the States?
