To be perfectly honest, I find half of you quite difficult to follow. Everyone seems to agree now that a moderator doesn't need to be constantly lurking in every thread, provided they respond to reports, yet you spent the entire afternoon posturing about how you never bother to report anyone. At the same time, you complain about the state of the chat, though it seems you don't actually want a functional one. In what parallel universe is this supposed self-sustaining system meant to operate, and by what logic? 🤔

I won't even get started on the threats directed at those who actually submit reports—whether coming from the users themselves or from moderators claiming such reports will be punished for being too frequent or unjustified. It is clearly chaos, though there is certainly room for debate as to why today was specifically judged to have crossed the line. ☕

I would also like to request that we reinstate the chat and refrain from shutting it down entirely. It seems unnecessary to me, as there are plenty of us who maintain a decent level of decorum, and I don't believe the situation has escalated to a point that warrants disabling the feature altogether. 🕺
If my memory serves me correctly, it remains one of the most active discussion threads on the forum, which is precisely why we see newcomers drifting over from other subforums only to end up being muted. ☕ We simply need to perform some informed moderation to clear out the noise and then move forward. 🤷
