I was just thinking about how many of our old-school community spots are disappearing lately. It feels like once a local hangout or a neighborhood staple closes down, that sense of shared identity just vanishes overnight. Does anyone else feel like these physical spaces are the only thing actually holding a community together?
It’s honestly brutal—I can’t even begin to describe the absolute torture of trying to log into this Reddit thread, let alone reply to someone, much less respond to a direct message. And if you think it’s bad on my laptop, try doing it on my phone—it’s a total nightmare, especially since the option to view my own posts or anyone else's keeps glitching out. Pop-up ads are constantly jumping in my face, and the site crashes so often I’m just sitting there waiting several minutes for it to crawl back to life. Honestly, I might just give this site the title of a sweet old retiree just trying to make it through the day 🙄
