I was watching some highlights from the affiliates last night, and honestly, there’s something about seeing a roster of hungry kids just absolutely steamrolling through a week that hits different. When the big club is struggling, you almost find yourself rooting for these guys just to feel some sense of momentum.

It’s easy to write off the developmental leagues as just a "waiting room," but when you see a perfect run like this, it makes you wonder about the sheer luck involved. You can have all the talent in the world, but if the timing isn't right or the chemistry isn't clicking, those winning streaks just don't happen. I remember following a specific prospect a few years back who was on a tear, and it felt like every single game was a massive event.

Do you guys actually follow the farm system closely, or do you only care once they actually get the call up to the show?
It’s not that it looks exactly like trash, but it honestly just turns my stomach. I suppose they don't mind if 🤷
but personally, I always steer clear of the aisles in the grocery store where the "fresh" meat is sitting out. That smell is just nauseating
I threw up after eating it around 10:00 PM. That was actually the last time I ever touched it.
I’m convinced it happened because the taste was just repulsive. It's the same thing when you eat something truly disgusting—your body just reacts by rejecting it immediately.☕
I probably didn't mention that I've been seeing a psychologist regularly since I was seven, and lately, I've started seeing a psychiatrist as well.🤷
Meat—or any kind of animal product—is completely off the table for me; the very thought makes me nauseous. Even back when I used to eat it, I would constantly end up throwing it back up. My diet is actually quite balanced, though. Aside from meat, I eat almost everything else: basically 99% of all available fruits and vegetables, soy, grains, eggs, and milk. I also use olive oil constantly. Every year, my mom buys several liters from a local farmer when we visit the coast, so we've only ever bought it from a grocery store once or twice.
I wasn't even planning on wearing my glasses today; I manage just fine without them.
Running isn't really an option for me because my hips are misaligned—my right side sits about an inch lower than my left. Plus, my orthopedic doctor gave me a medical waiver for PE class because the cartilage in my knee is worn down. If I bend or straighten my leg too quickly or sharply, there’s this incredibly painful, uncomfortable grinding sensation.

During the day, I'm usually on my own. There's always some good music playing in the background, and I try to avoid contact with my parents as much as possible because they contribute an abnormal amount of stress to my life... 😉
I’m planning to head in for my checkup soon, and I'm sure everything will turn out fine. The only thing is, I missed that last IBM scan—I really should have gone sometime in the last month, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Honestly, I think I’m going to demand a much more thorough examination this time because this whole situation is starting to drive me crazy...
Anyway, I wanted to reach out to you all. Perhaps someone here has some insightful or useful advice to share? 😉
To start, I am a 15-year-old female, standing 172cm tall and weighing 58kg. I have been a vegetarian for about four years now.

For years, I have dealt with frequent and severe headaches, but over the last year, they have become almost unbearable. When I was seven, I had several IBM tests performed, and my neurologist was completely speechless (please don't ask; those "spikes" were significantly higher than anything normal—the doctor said she had never seen anything like it). I also had a CT scan back then, but it showed nothing. A few months ago, I underwent another IBM, but this one appeared quite normal. My neurologist advised me to return in two or three months, though I haven't gone back yet. My blood work comes back clean, and I have never been diagnosed with anything, whether treatable or otherwise. I don't smoke, drink, or use drugs. However, I do deal with quite a high level of stress. Almost every day, I suffer from a terrible headache (either in the upper part of my head or feeling like my veins are pulsing through my brain, as if they might burst), and I take 1–3 Andy tablets, though they don't always help. My blood pressure is strange; it’s usually around 100/60, but a few times it has climbed above 160/80, and once it even hit 180/130 (don't ask me how I managed that!). My heart rate is typically around 70–75. Whenever I make a sudden movement or simply stand up after sitting, I get dizzy and my vision goes black; I feel like I'm going to faint and have to grab onto the nearest thing to stay upright. I don't spend much time in the sun, and I usually don't leave the house until around 7:30 PM.
Several times a day, my legs go numb, and after being numb for about a minute, I experience a terrible, painful cramp. The same thing happens if I stretch a muscle too far—it just cramps up. My left arm often hurts, specifically my forearm or just my wrist. As far as I know, I don't have any allergies. I don't take any medication other than Andy or Tylenol if Andy isn't working.
Also, in recent months, I've noticed my vision has weakened. It used to be exceptionally sharp; I could see distant and small objects more clearly than others, but now everything is slightly blurry and my distance vision isn't great (I'm not farsighted, and I've never needed glasses). I can't run for long because I get out of breath very quickly, and my heart starts racing abnormally.

FAMILY MEDICAL HISTORY: asthma, cardiovascular disease (many relatives passed away from this), and tumors (mostly malignant); I believe that covers it.

I included all these details because I know that things which seem insignificant are often the most important when diagnosing a problem.
If anyone knows roughly what I should be looking into, I would be very grateful. 😉
I am honestly exhausted from bouncing between hospitals only to be told everything is fine... 🙄
Stribog in Music ·
I think Stribog is alright. Honestly, it’s probably just because their keyboardist has been a close friend of mine for years. They aren't exactly my go-to black metal act, but hey, whatever they are, they aren't bad...
