For tonight, I’m strictly looking at Chicago and Boston... Chicago is on the road against Detroit. They’ve swept all three matchups this season quite easily, and they don't have any injuries to worry about (Rose should be back in the lineup too). They currently hold the best record in the league, so every single win matters. Meanwhile, Detroit is nowhere near the playoffs and honestly lacks much motivation right now. 🤷 As for Boston, it's pretty simple: they're playing on the road against the most convincingly terrible team in the league. That team plays without any cohesive identity, shows zero drive or desire, and frankly, they lack the talent.
Regarding Boston, it's worth noting this is their third game in three nights, but then again, those are the Charlotte Bobcats...
I'm expecting wins from Miami and Dallas in these "national" matchups, maybe LeBron James to go over, and things of that nature. But tonight is just about the spectacle. Betting takes a backseat. 🙂
It’s proving difficult to pick out even two solid plays today. We already have the Clippers spread mentioned, and I’ll likely tack on an Oklahoma City victory by 11 or more points. With Kevin Love looking questionable, any real playoff hopes are basically gone; honestly, losing by double digits at home feels inevitable at this point. Just pure nonsense. Hand them the ping-pong balls and call it a day.
The Boston Celtics caught me off guard last night. You simply cannot be losing to a Toronto Raptors squad like that. If they keep playing like this, they might as well just plan on getting knocked out in the playoffs by Chicago.
Yesterday was a complete disaster for me. It sucked.
I had Luol Deng over 2.5 points and Parker over 11. Naturally, Parker went out and dropped 11 points in just the first quarter, while Deng barely managed to hit 4 by halftime. In the end, he finished with just 14, which wasn't enough to cover my bet.🤣

It appears he might be able to suit up, though I have my doubts. He isn't the type to push himself right before the playoffs. My stance remains unchanged: take the Knicks +9.5 and the Caramelo over.

If we were heading straight into the playoffs, he’d definitely be out there, but right now, the weight of this decision falls squarely on his shoulders and the coach's. They don't have a game tomorrow, but they do have that matchup against the Heat the day after. Personally, I suspect he'll suit up, likely playing strictly controlled minutes.
The over on 9.5 points for this matchup against the Knicks is a play worth considering. If Jalen Rose actually takes the floor, he’s still clearly struggling to find his rhythm and playing out of sync with himself. On the other hand, if he sits, we’re looking at C.J. Watson stepping into the starting lineup, and he’s been dealing with those nagging ankle and elbow issues lately. As for Carmelo, I’m confident he’ll breeze past that 25.5 line without much trouble.
I have absolutely no idea what happened with Rose's injury. Nothing significant stood out during the game itself. It was likely just something minor. Expect an update from the KC around 7:00 or 8:00 PM, following their shooting practice.
There is no need to overthink this; New York is sitting at 7-0 at home under their new head coach. It’s going to be a tough matchup, certainly, but I am firmly giving the edge to the Bulls.
