Exactly... BUT I can watch a Formula 1 race without commercials, without commentators, using cockpit cams, live timing, and stuff like that. Once the race is over, I can actually sit through a press conference without being interrupted. I can listen to what the team principals have to say... I can watch whatever sport I actually care about instead of complaining that nothing is being broadcast here. The point isn't that you can't watch half a million shows; it's that you actually have access to those half a million shows so you can find exactly what you want. It's about having the choice. For me, that costs about $160 a year, or $30 a month. How much does a basic cable subscription cost these days? ☕

Look, I’m still sticking to my guns: instead of wasting cash on DirecTV or whatever, you're way better off just getting a satellite receiver and paying for card sharing. You spend the exact same amount of money and get a million more channels...

So, who’s actually broadcasting this arena? Is it going to be some new channel you can just pick up with a regular antenna, or is it stuck behind those Bnet and DirecTV bullshit subscriptions?

On this fast track, it’s really just Red Bull Racing and McLaren fighting for the trophy. That is, unless things go completely sideways—especially if we get rain, though trying to call that is a total crapshoot.

Lucas Massa is basically the South American standard for being soft, while Fernando Alonso is the European unit of measurement for it ☕

I'm used to seeing these images at like 800p when I'm browsing car sites, so I honestly never gave a damn about resolution. In this day and age, with high-speed internet, I don't get why anyone even cares about image size anymore. Anyway, too bad I couldn't find a bigger Budweiser. 😬

Regarding the broadcast, like I said before, HBO covers everything. They put qualifying on their streaming service, while the race on Sunday is on the main channel right between two games. If you don't have access to the streaming service for qualifying, just find a stream or something.

As far as the race goes, I’m just hoping that 50% chance of rain hits. If it does, let's see if anyone can actually beat McLaren.

As for Sebastian Vettel, I’ll give you my take. I just don't like him. Not even looking at his driving, he just looks like a total mess—I can't put my finger on it, he's just not my kind of guy. But that’s beside the point. Driving-wise, he knows what he's doing, but the sheer stupidity he displays is fascinating. Like last season in Australia when he collided with Robert Kubica and then just sat there on the track shedding debris. Or this past Sunday, when his engineer spent half the race begging him to save his brakes and just finish the race, but nope, he keeps driving like his life depends on it. There have been plenty of fast drivers who leave their brains back at the hotel...
