Buy new ink or just a new printer? (Home use)

So, can you guys help me out with some printer recommendations for my place? I was leaning towards grabbing a laser printer—just thinking out loud here—but now I’m second-guessing myself big time! Like, should I just stick to black and white, or is color actually worth the headache? I definitely need something with Wi-Fi, and if it’s a multi-function thing with duplex printing, even better—not that I'm super picky about the duplex part, haha. Since I want to keep this thing for the long haul, I don't mind dropping a bit more cash upfront to get something decent. But honestly, does it even make sense to invest in a setup like that just for home use? Or am I crazy and should just go for one of those EcoTank models instead? If anyone has any solid suggestions along with a ballpark price, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks a ton!
