Speed issues

Thank you all for the replies 🙂 I truly appreciate every bit of insight 🙂
Regarding the TV, I’m using an antenna from Comcast, but I tried moving it around today and it’s just completely useless
Maybe it’s broken? I'm not sure... the indicator lights aren't even working right anymore
As for my Verizon mobile hotspot—which needs to be plugged into a wall outlet—I finally connected it to my laptop via ethernet to run some tests
The speeds are all over the place... ping is at 20, while downloads and uploads fluctuate between 3 and 20 Mbps
I’ve tried walking around with the router and repositioning it by the window, but the signal actually gets worse near the glass
Strangely enough, the best connection seems to be right next to the power strip, and even then, it's inconsistent—like a 20 ping with 19 down and 18 up
Does anyone know what the ideal parameters should actually look like?
My plan is to call Verizon on Monday to review the specifics of my service agreement
However, I think I might have a major hurdle here since I'm on the ground floor with thick concrete walls; I wonder if there's even a viable option for this layout
John Doe, thank you so much 🙂
