The struggle of catching live shows lately
in Hobbies & Leisure ·
Does anyone else feel like it’s becoming impossible to actually see live music without a massive headache? I was looking at some upcoming dates for a tour I’ve been following for a while, and it feels like every time I check, the venues are already hitting capacity or the secondary markets are just insane.
I remember back in the day when you could just show up or grab something reasonably priced at the door if you were lucky. Now, it feels like you have to be hovering over your keyboard the second a tour is announced just to stand a chance. It's a bummer because I really value that raw, live energy, but the logistics are getting exhausting.
Is it just me, or has the whole experience of planning a night out for a concert become a full-time job?
