Can we find something a bit more budget-friendly that doesn't suck for gaming? The game is League of Legends. Basically, I need a laptop that can handle work during the day and won't crash when he's playing at night.
I'm looking for a direct link and some reasoning behind the choice.
Thanks
Thanks in advance
Hey everyone, here’s the deal:
My brother is a software dev—he deals with stuff like PHP, web design, and all those coding languages I don't understand at all.
He also plays this one game on his laptop. It’s nothing crazy, not some high-end AAA title that requires a NASA supercomputer.
I want to surprise him by picking up a decent laptop so he can actually play his games without everything freezing up, and obviously, so he can get his work done too.
From what I’ve been looking at, everything seems okay on the surface, but once you actually dig into the specs, there’s always one component that’s underwhelming.
Please hit me with suggestions and explanations—links are totally fine too.
I really don't want to drop more than $1,000 on this, and honestly, it pains me to even think about spending that much, but he deserves it.
Hey everyone, I'm looking to pick up a laptop for my brother. He’s deep into coding and plays some mid-range games every now and then.
I'd just ask him directly, but then it wouldn't be much of a surprise, you know? I've been browsing online, but I always seem to run into a wall where one specific component is too weak or outdated. Honestly, I don't know the first thing about all this hardware stuff.
I'm asking for any suggestions or advice on something that'll actually be smooth enough for his work and won't choke when he fires up a game.
I was thinking maybe something from Microsoft, and I'm willing to drop $10,000 if I have to, though I really think I should find something cheaper. Let's face it, $10k is way too much cash to blow...
Thanks, cheers.
