Kate Morgan66 said:I think most healthcare providers besides Medicare only take State Farm for supplemental coverage—with everyone else, you basically pay out of pocket first and then file a claim with the insurance company to get reimbursed (correct me if I'm wrong).
As for other differences, I haven't looked into them much. I went with State Farm because I needed my supplemental coverage within 15 days, and back then, Medicare was taking a full 30 days to process things.

Thanks!

Medicare takes 30 days.

I had no idea private insurers offered that—didn't realize it was an option. Honestly, what’s the actual difference between sticking with Medicare versus going with State Farm or some other provider?
If I don't currently have supplemental coverage, how do I go about starting payments—and realistically, how long is the wait between my first payment and actually being covered?

Yeah, good call. I can't actually move it because I'm running out of space—but I could just delete it (basically telling Windows to stop using swap entirely).

Since I'm wiping Windows anyway, the swap file isn't exactly my priority right now.

EDIT: So, just to be clear—I can't merge those partitions while the swap is sitting on that other one? I have to get rid of it first?
I've got three partitions set up:

c: -> OS and programs
e: -> swap file and temp files
f: -> data

My goal is to merge c: and e:, then carve out a chunk from f: to add to this new combined partition.

I'm using EaseUS Partition Master—can I actually merge c: and e: while running inside Windows? Since the OS lives on c: and the SWAP file is sitting on e:, I’m wondering if things will go south when I start messing with the partition holding the active SWAP file while the system is still live.
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Can anyone recommend a decent gastroenterologist covered by Medicare? I’ve already seen one specialist who—honestly—completely botched my diagnosis. They even messed up the tests they ran at Saint Joseph; they barely took a sample. I’m ready to finally see someone who actually knows what they're doing and will get this right.
Is it actually true that under my Medicare coverage I have the right to request a second opinion? Specifically—if I’ve already seen one specialist, can I just ask my primary care doctor for a referral to someone else for a second look, or are they required to give me one if I ask?
Lower back pain/Lordosis help? in Health ·
I’ll bump this thread rather than starting a whole new one.

There are endless YouTube videos out there claiming you can fix this by doing specific exercises to target certain muscle groups.

My question is—can I actually get Medicare to cover this? Is there any way to get a referral to a specialist who handles this stuff? Or am I just stuck doing whatever random workouts I find online?
