What can I possibly offer if nobody here actually knows what they're looking for? You asked for a photo of my setup, I provided it, yet I find myself completely lost as to why this entire debate is even happening... It would probably be more productive to seek assistance on a different forum, given that everyone here seems to lack any sense of seriousness...

graniteharbor85 said:Seriously, why are you bothering to advise someone who is clearly just a troll using a burner account... The Corsair 450 D only recently hit the shelves at Micro Center, and even Adam doesn't have one in stock, let alone back when he supposedly built this rig. He’s been claiming his games won't run on max settings for about six months now—you get the idea, he essentially "bought" this setup and started lying about it here...

On another forum recently, he listed the exact same specs but mentioned a Z11 + and a planned upgrade to an NH D14 & GTX 970. The guy is clearly unhinged and has nothing better to do with his time... There is a 1% chance he actually bought this configuration given his track record, and even that would be easy enough to verify...

Why don't you just post a photo of your PC with a piece of paper in front of it signed by you and this forum... Or, you know, just go ahead and reply to yourself using a different profile...

I have no idea what you're talking about, my NH D 14 is scheduled to arrive on Monday, and I ordered the Corsair 450 D from Uzia a few days ago, which left me with enough cash for the parts I mentioned...
And I haven't stepped foot on any other forum to ask or post anything, seeing as I was already getting all the advice I needed right here while I was planning this purchase...

Here is the photo, so feel free to keep acting like a genius...

I put this machine together using parts from this forum, and until about six months ago, everything ran perfectly on max settings... but lately, newer titles just won't hit those high specs anymore, so I suppose it’s finally time for an upgrade...
My main question is whether $1667 would be sufficient for such an undertaking... the GPU is my top priority, though I'm also considering swapping this i5 for an i7 if it's proving too weak... I have a high-end cooler, but I'm not entirely sure about overclocking, so if anyone is willing to be patient and walk me through the entire process in detail, I would certainly appreciate the guidance... additionally, adding a 250GB SSD seems like a logical move...
Since I bought the whole rig at a local Best Buy, and everything is still under warranty, it might actually make sense to handle this upgrade right there...

Mine is an EVGA GTX 560, also the dual-fan OC version, and I haven't had to spend a single cent on extra cooling since I picked it up about a year and a half ago...

I'll worry about overclocking when the time comes... for now, it should handle everything on high settings without needing any extra tweaks...

I'm trying to figure out which of these two graphics cards actually packs more punch... I'm heading out to pick up a new rig next week, so I'd appreciate some insight on which one I should grab
