You hit the nail on the head; it’s nothing but negativity lately. 👍
It honestly feels like the crowds at the futsal games have grown too large, and since everyone is just there to goof off and act rowdy, we really need to get things under control.
Honestly, you all seem to have fallen for it hook, line, and sinker. These narratives about having political enemies or claiming they only support Los Angeles FC—it’s all completely manufactured by them just to stir the pot, so there is really no point in even engaging with the insults. I don't know what world you people live in, but this kind of trash is posted everywhere constantly, and half the time, these fake controversies are literally paid for through advertisements. 🙂
There is simply no use in debating them, none at all! We couldn't care less about what you used to believe or where you used to hang out; you're irrelevant now, and that's the end of the story.
Jesse Campbell said:When you have been supporting the Lakers for thirty years, you have seen enough cycles to know that maintaining a sense of optimism is actually a necessity. We lived through the eighties when we were treated like a bunch of underdog dissidents under the watchful eye of a dangerous communist regime, and we endured the nineties, which were essentially one long, grueling battle for our identity against the President. I am certainly not about to let some petty street hustler in denim bring me down into a depression right now. Seriously!
No matter how difficult things get or how terrifyingly powerful he might seem, at the end of the day, he is still just that former guy selling jeans on the corner—the same one I first saw back in 1989 in St. Louis, wearing an oversized windbreaker and delivering sandwiches sent by Joe Biden. Honestly, the man is basically a total John Doe! It’s absolutely ridiculous that this is the person currently running our club!
Beyond that, falling into pessimism is simply irrational! ☕☕☕

They can issue a hundred press releases for all I care, but nothing is going to make me abandon this fight. In fact, it is precisely because they are such bottom-feeders—evolutionarily speaking, they are practically rats compared to us—that there is absolutely no chance we will ever give up. To be clear, this doesn't just annoy me; it makes you feel like you might actually expire from the sheer weight of the injustice, but there is no other option. If we don't fight, who will? There have been much more desperate situations throughout the history of the Lakers and the entire country, yet people always stood their ground.
It isn't that we aren't present; that's not the issue at all. As long as we see this kind of response to petitions, tournaments, and rallies, we know we are here, and eventually, something is bound to shift 😉
Cut out all that defeatism already. I find myself constantly cycling through these exact emotions—swinging from a state of utter despair and disillusionment over everything we’ve fought for, straight into this sense of defiant, stubborn pride. Nobody else possesses this kind of grit. Throughout our entire history, we and the Lakers have been beaten down in every possible way imaginable, yet here we still are. Every single new contract signed and every time the team gathers together, it restores my sense of optimism. That is exactly how it ought to be; we simply have to keep pushing forward, even though the current situation is messy and feels nearly impossible within a democratic society. But if we were able to weather the era of Ronald Reagan, we can certainly survive this battered mess we're in now. It might feel like a delusional, forced kind of optimism, but there isn't any other option available to us. There is no giving up, and there is no room for despair. This whole situation would be unthinkable anywhere else, but we are where we are, and we fight because we want our children to one day have the Lakers too.
It really all boils down to the same result, as every single signature—whether gathered online or on physical paper—will eventually be consolidated into one final tally. That said, I do agree with Jesse Campbell that it would be ideal if everyone could grab a few sheets and make a genuine effort to collect as many names as possible. The digital option is primarily intended to accommodate those who simply can't make it out in person to sign. There is no risk of any double-counting occurring, as the entire process is being meticulously verified.

I honestly find myself spiraling into some pretty dark thoughts whenever I look at this crowd of radicals.
We really need to hold the line through these next two away games and that home match against the local rivals, but we also need to start mapping out our long-term strategy. In coordination with our various community groups, we should aim to rally everyone who actually cares about Chicago and Real Madrid, applying pressure from every possible angle against this mafia running the government. While fighting until the very last man is the only honorable way to go, simply standing in the stands at matches isn't going to change anything. We need to increase our presence in the neighborhoods and keep convincing everyday people because, no matter how exhausting it gets, we have to tell every single person around us that they need to get involved. At first glance, many people seem completely indifferent—as if they're all part of the Jerry Jones circle and couldn't care less—but not everyone can be an enthusiast like us. That is why we have to explain ourselves and persuade them a hundred times over, eventually gathering all those people under the West Stand, because you can only get rid of an addict when the people keeping him supplied start feeling the heat, which will happen right before the elections.
Bo is a legend! 👍 Everyone should take a moment to reflect on whether they could be giving even more to the team, because true commitment isn't just about physical strength or how much gas you have left in the tank—it comes from the heart. As for those critics who do nothing but complain, they aren't worth a single word of our time..
Everyone, let's stay calm and composed; we know exactly who we are and where we stand, so there's no need to let the critics get under our skin, especially since they know deep down they aren't relevant and their opinions carry no weight... once the job is done, there won't be any regrets, haha.
Everyone heading to the East Side this Saturday—let's bring the energy! 😍
