I have a question
Has anyone else noticed their tip
start to drop after a little while? It’s currently day 16 since my surgery, and honestly, I’m starting to look a bit like Miss Piggy. My nose is still quite swollen and it’s pointing upward significantly, which feels very strange because I was used to having a much more drooping tip. Everything else seems fine, though—the hump is gone and my breathing feels relatively good.
I had surgery this morning with Dr. Zambelli in Seattle, and I’ll be staying overnight at the hospital. Thankfully, the anesthesia went incredibly smoothly. I was bracing myself for some nasty side effects, but honestly, I haven't felt a thing yet. A huge shoutout to the anesthesiologist, Jurlina—really top-notch work there. As of right now, I’m not even feeling any pain, though I haven't taken any medication yet; I suspect whatever they put in my IV might still be doing its job, even if I'm a bit skeptical about how long it lasts. I’ve already noticed some dark circles under my eyes, and I'm fully expecting more bruising to show up later on.
I haven't actually caught up with Zambelli yet, so I'm not entirely sure what his specific handiwork involved.

Is this your first time undergoing nose surgery?

Plavileptir,
I just got off the phone with his sister to double-check the appointment time, and when I asked if the surgery was going to take place in Seattle, she confirmed that it is indeed happening there.
It might be worth giving the doctor's office a call directly to ask her yourself, just to be absolutely certain.

As it happens, I actually have a surgery scheduled with him in just a week. I went to see him for a consultation up in Seattle, and the procedure itself will take place there, since that's where his practice is located. While he might perform operations in San Francisco, he definitely works out of Seattle; as far as I know, that's where several other women from this forum who had surgery with him were treated as well.
Mayo, it sounds like you’ve really been through the wringer lately! I actually went ahead and scheduled my procedure with the exact same specialist you saw, and now that it's on the calendar, I'm feeling a little bit of that pre-op anxiety.
Is your breathing any different now compared to how it felt before the surgery? And regarding that little lump—is it quite large, or is it one of those small, subtle ones that others might not even notice (the one you mentioned he said wouldn't fully go away), or something else entirely?
Has anyone here had surgery with Tony lately? I’m specifically looking into his work with older patients. I would truly appreciate it if someone who has undergone a procedure with him could reach out and share their experience.
I'll likely be heading in for a consultation with him next week.
I recently saw Zambelli, and honestly, I walked away with such a negative impression. 😢
