Rhinoplasty: Experiences and recovery tips?

Hey everyone, I could really use some advice here.
I had nose surgery in Washington, D.C. about two months ago to fix both my breathing and the shape.
The procedure included narrowing the tip, but now that two months have passed, the top part of my nose looks totally deflated, while the tip itself still feels swollen and numb.
Does this swelling eventually go down, or am I stuck with this look? Also, is there any specific cream or something from a drugstore I should pick up to speed up the healing process?
