Rhinoplasty: Experiences and recovery tips?

Hey everyone, so I just found out today that I’m scheduled for surgery shortly after New Year's with Dr. Alan Pegan over at the Vineyard... and I was hoping maybe a few of you could help me out with some questions if you have a moment. I'm mostly feeling a bit anxious because the timing of the procedure overlaps right when my period is supposed to start, and I can't help but wonder how common it is to have surgery while on your cycle. Also, has anyone ever used those pills to delay a period? I was looking through all the paperwork from the anesthesiologist, but I didn't see anything specifically mentioning whether those are okay to take or not. On top of that, if anyone here has actually been treated by Dr. Pegan before, I'd love to hear 🙂 🤷 😕
